If ps4 owners don't care, then why fight it for the ones that do?
Inside, Cuphead, Ori. Yeah.. super low indie standards.. Come on man, nobody is buying your BS here.
I believe those people were "criticizing" that period of time at the beginning of the playstation 4 launch where sony relied more heavily on indies. It's much more balanced now.
You didn't know about Project Xcloud before Google's announcement? MS showed it off on iside xbox a week before google.

Where are the sponsored social media posts and the fake positive news? Could it be possible that people could actually be interested in this technology? Or is my opinion "sponsored" because you don't share it?
If you can't even run youtube or stream a song on your wifi, this cloud option is definitely not for you. Are you not able to even play games online?
@Razzer,
Sure, you can say the xbox brand is becoming more relevant while consoles (will soon) become less relevant. That's just the way technology is going through. The Xbox brand and service can grow beyond consoles which is MS goal. Opening the pool to many more gamers is good for the industry as a whole, not just MS.
Microsoft and Google aren't talking about 4 year old games streaming at 720p 30 fps. They are talking about 4k 30/60 fps. Sony is limited with their current cloud tech and would need to make google, amazon and MS types of investments in their cloud infrastructure in order to compete on that next gen level. Sure, PSnow is fine for now but if you're streaming at 720p or even 1080p next gen, that's not going to cut it.
This is great news for independent developers and gamers.
@Apocalypse,
If the goal is to sell the most consoles, you are absolutely correct. If the goal is to increase revenue, you want to get your game out to more people. Not saying bringing it to Xbox, but it seems like Sony is at least open to putting some of their content on PC. That extra revenue can get reinvested into the studio to make the game better.
Because no matter how old we get, we still turn into little kids when we think about next gen. At least for me. Brings me back :)
BC is not a system seller by itself. It's more of a selling point, but those points add up when a gamer is trying to decide which system to go all in on.
Curious what the revised Switch that's rumored to come out next year will look like. I can't imagine it's just a bigger screen. It has to be beefier. I can't see Nintendo going 4k either but maybe close?
Inside xbox is a horrible format. Too much fluff.
I like them both. I would be a bit sad if E3 press conferences completely went away but I understand the value of being able to control your message and show things throughout the year when they're ready.
These companies need to hire a "Cringe Expert". They present the presentation internally and the Cringer says "No, we don't want to know what's on the bottom of an avatar's shoe, please don't say that".
Wouldn't Sony have the same BC licensing issues that MS has with 3rd party contracts (music rights, expired contracts, etc?) Or are you thinking it's purely disc based BC? If that's the case, I still have my Battle Arena Toshinden and Crazy Ivan somewhere in the garage. My Korn Demo disc better work too. :) That T-Rex was the coolest thing I had ever seen.
Because you hate Google and MS?
Microsoft has released a few demo's of xcloud that you can catch on youtube but it sounds like their big reveal will be at E3.
You literally just proved his point with your dramatic list of options. Don't like those option, don't give them your money. Just vote with your wallet and let others do the same.
