That doesn't make any business sense.
Well, there's a trade off that you have to consider here. 1) You're going to have to wait a little as it will launch on PS5 first and 2) PS5 could be $399-499 while a gaming PC is ... well, I have no idea how much a gaming PC is but I'm sure it has got to be at LEAST double that.
Can you imagine how much money Sony could make if they opened up their older catalog of games to PC?
Even if they end up releasing 1st party games, its effect on hardware sales would be so small, that the amount of money made from the PC software would more than justify it. Sony is starting to realize this. If you prefer gaming on pc, a console isn't going to sway most people. Same goes the other way. Console games will always prefer consoles over PC.
That's correct.
Exactly, it's just smart business. They don't have a play anywhere program so they can reach a whole new audience now with all of the additional PC sales going back to the devs.
There's just something magical about a next generation launch year. People giving Sony crap for not announcing news is just because we're all excited and just want to know EVERYTHING we can regardless of whether we need to.
Ah, they revised it then because originally it said Series X
HAHAHA pretty sweet. So that puts lockheart at what $99.99 and xbox One X at $19.95!
Probably because he's an adult.
Nope.
Ori and the will of the wisps hits Gamepass on 3/11. Been looking forward to this game for so long.
@Hater
So you're saying that you would prefer Microsoft to mandate what games their first party studios can make? Force them to make photo realistic games to appease a sony troll? Come on man, let studios make the kinds of games they want to make. If you don't like those games, just don't buy them.
Microsoft is developing the Slipspace Engine and Halo Infinite will be the first game to utilize it.

Did I miss the story? Is this coming to PS5, Stadia and Switch? Or does he just mean Windows?
That's the main draw for me! I loved those movies as a kid.
lol he didn't say anything about not being allowed to voice your opinion. Scream it from the mountain tops buddy!
For me, I could never get into PC gaming, no disrespect to you or to anyone that games on Windows. I know a lot of the appeal is the building of the machine yourself and I can see how people can be into that. For me, it's about convenience and ease of entry. I like being able to hit 1 button, and play a game for 10 minutes only to be able to walk by and hit 1 button to turn it off. I don't get to sit down and game for hours like I used to. Plus, I like that consoles are quite a bit ch...
It's a damn fine logo though.
Wow, CaptainHenry is excited for a Microsoft game!? Was not expecting that.
