You need to run back to Halo and play pew-pew with the water pistols in the rainbow-coloured suits.
Dont feed the troll.
Incidentally, the funniest part is when these same guys call Killzone generic as well and then whine about the non-Halo or CoD like controls and more tactical combat.
MAG gamers would make the best soldiers - no better training in terms of tactics, teamwork and hand-eye coordination
The so-called attach rate is a useless and misleading figure
It basically measures news software sold / new hardware sold. So assume that we have two consoles A and B, and every month, for both consoles, 1 in 10 users buy a new game. Also, assume both A and B sell 10 new consoles every months.
So, nothing to differentiate between the two consoles you would think? However, any console that came out earlier and has a larger existing install base will always have a seemi...
Ah, I always wondered why Shellshock Nam 67 was so poor - that explains it.
Raztad, I would say the fact that KZ1 was quite an achievement in coding - to get that level of graphics on the PS2, even with some hit in framerates, is some achievement. They obviously showed some good promise in terms of their ability to extract the last ounce of graphics from a system
Again, more rubbish about how Sony was "forced" to keep PSN free awhile MS can somehow charge because its so superior
Was Sony "forced" to add dedicated servers for KZ2 or MAG?
Was Sony "forced" to add a free wifi or rechargeable batteries as standard?
Just ask yourself a couple of questions
1. Couldn't Sony have easily charged a smaller amount for PSN, say $25?
2. What if MS had a PSN-equivalent free service a...
Frankly, what Alpha Male is saying is rubbish and misses the point
Obviously, nobody runs their business for charity. The question is rather: which company does less to rip-off their customers and hit them with hidden costs.
Here is an incomplete list of things Sony could have done but chose not to:
# Rip out the wifi and charge $50 for it
# Add cheaper components that would fail more often, but save Sony money - say a cheaper, noisy tray drive, cheaper plastic...
Super Mario Galaxy is the highest rated because wii reviews pretend that its still 2005. The same game, if released on the PS3 with those graphics and lack of storyline would barely cross 90.
Saying halo is the king of multiplayer is like saying the Corolla is the king of cars or Mario Kart is the king of racing games. Its the most played and is easy to pick up, especially as its gameplay hasnt changed at all from 2001. But after playing KZ2, MAG or BF:BC, I only hope Crysis multiplayer comes out closer to those games rather than Halo
To quote Kevin Butler
"Whats wrong with him"
Just kidding! And hoping that I will be able to play SoTC, remastered, on the PS3 soon.
Ask anyone who had one of the original PS3 60 gigs with PS2 BC
How much time you spend playing PS2 games?
And how much time on PS3 games?
You know the answer, don’t you?
Frankly, I think Naughty Dog and Guerrila used some voodoo magic or somehow found some secret cache of processing power and RAM on the PS3 that no one else knows about. Cant blame other developers for not being able to match UC2 or KZ2
How about an option where you can take down a Helghast using CQC, put on his helmet and uniform and sneak behind some other Helghast –this would be an interesting way to outflank enemy AI who are behind strong cover.
The last few messages from "KillzoneFanboy"
GeoW3 article: Best looking game at E3. The 360 is really showing itself as the best console.
Article on E3: "When can we expect Sony fanboys to go away? "
KZ3 article: "Looks generic."
Thats basically MAG played like CoD or Halo
In any well functioning team, you dont run off alone, AND you get revived (and revive others) as soon as you fall - even when its the middle of a firefight, thats probably the most critical factor behind success.
Of course, often teams are dysfunctional, but will gladly accept one poor match for 2-3 good matches, because a good, well contested match in MAG between two good teams is something to experience really, nothing to beat it e...
All MS needs to do is come out with a statement saying that Natal lag is so many ms - like Sony revealed the lag in Move is 22ms. The only reason for not doing so is the same reason why MS dont reveal their defect rate - because MS cant afford tto let the truth be known.
Why write three page on this? Its simple really. It was the first major console exclusive in this generation, at a time where there were few good shooters for the next gen (the only otehrs were R6V, GRAW and PDZ) and had by far the best graphics at the time. The fact that it looks so dated now is simply a testament to how quickly graphics developed, especially on the PS3 exclusives
In addition, it had a lot of shooting and gore with no story or subtlety (compare that to Uncha...
How about leaving something unrevealed for E3 for a change?
Even 1 million, at full price, is not bad - say it rises to close to 1.5m lifetime, thats enough for MAG 2. It doesnt need to compete with Halo or FF in sales, all I want to see is enough sales to ensure a new improved sequel of MAG with more maps and the same awesome gameplay.
