Meanwhile, we hear far more Corolla were sold last week than Porsches, Lambhorgins and BMWs.
The ratio of smart people to imbeciles? 2000: 150,000 sounds about right.
I started online gaming quite late but that has become the favourite aspect of gaming for me, even though I still love the single-player aspect. What I really love is coop on games like Resistance 2 and Uncharted 2 and online tactical shooters such as MAG / KZ2. There have been some MAG matches and UC2 survival rounds where I have been drained yet exhilarated by the sense of teamwork, a group of strangers each knowing what their role is and covering for each other.
Lair and MGS. Lair the best by a long way.
Yes, Halo fans are typically very much against anything that is an “old rehashed duplicate”

i was being sarcastic
And looks like I got disagrees from Halo fans and Halo haters, will be down to one bubble soon - so thanks for the advice
Well, to use the usual argument - Halo Reach will sell 5 times as much as Mass effect 2 did, so its obviously the better game.

You have no clue. Polyphony have no clue.
This is rubbish. They should learn from a true AAA developer like Bungie how to manage franchises.
They should have brought out GT5 in 2007, with the same gameplay and engine as GT4 and marginally improved 640p graphics, with some nice catchy tagline such as “Lets finish the race”
Then, maybe something like GT5 Prologue but with half the content, 640p graphics and for a full priced $60 retail...
Thanks - in that case saves me a bit of money as I wont have to buy moer than one set.
Does anyone know if you are playing 2-player coop or splitscreen games which support both Move and DS3, Can one player use the DS3 and the other use Move/Sub?
"doesn’t feel like enough of a change to have the same impact"
Expect variations of the same comment on practically every PS3 exclusive, yet strangely absent for copy-paste sequels such as Halo 3/ ODST/Reach, Gears 2 or Forza 3
I guess heavy Rain / inFamous / ratchet would be good benchmarks, so about 1.5m-2m sales for Alan Wake
PS3 owners buy games – which is why LBP sold 3m+, low-key games such as Modnations and Demon’s Souls made by unknown developers are on their way to 1m.
360 owners buy Halo – which is why Halo sells 10m, Splinter Cell struggles to sell 20% as much as MGS, Lost Odyssey (the most hyped JRPG other than FF) barely hit 1m, All the JRPG exclusives combined sold 1m,...
What we do know that because of how smart Sony has been, the PS3 will remain alive and kicking for maybe 2-3 years after the launch of PS4 and the PS4 will have full Backward compatilibility
Because the PS4 will use the same processor (maybe 2 cells instead of one) and the same blu-ray drive, only a more powerful graphics card with say 1-2GB of memory. So, the PS4 would be easily able to play every PS3 game out of the box while with new PS4 games, they would run with 1080p, 4...
Same advice for Deus Ex 3 and Resistance 3: just try to please the fans of the original game.
Especially in Radec, there are a couple of back alleys you can use to turn the tables on your opponents – if your team is coordinated enough
Well, you know, Halo is just about the gameplay and graphics don’t matter. Unless the graphics somehow turn out to be a match for PS3 exclusives (looking at Splinter Cell and Alan Wake, doubtful) in which case these forums will be full of gloating Halo /XBOX fans
Offline coop for the single-player would be nice, both in this as well as resistance 3 and KZ3. Other than that, cant improve much on perfection, but maybe add a few more coop maps at launch.
You are wrong - there is no such thing as Counter Strike. FPS and online multiplayer did not exist before Halo came along. Fact.
Another thing I canr understand - why are the minimum specs so high on PC games? I know, its not easy to optimise for PCs as it is for consoles. But if I can play a game at 720p with some AA on a PS3, I should be able to play the same game with a 7000-series graphics card with no AA and at 800*600 at least. I know, one can upgrade but still...
Hate to mention this, but you do realise that most KZ players are glad that game is nothing like Halo?
In fact a list of things we do NOT want to see in KZ2:
Generic gameplay mechanics – spray and pray combined with lots of grenade spamming and jumping up and down
Boring story and most dull, bland lead character ever
Last gen graphics that are still trying to catch up on games released 2 years ago
A community filled with spoilt brats, homophobes, screa...
Agree with Raztad - but give it a few hours / 10-20 rounds, before you level up a bit and appreciate it.
And max up on the medic and use the revive as soon as you can.
