It's not that I love MS... It's that I like Sony less.

@ Darthv72

Yes. And No.
Yes: If you are new to the console and want to play everything in Game Pass then it's Game Pass plus XBL.
No: If you don't plan to play online there are still many choices that offer single player content, so this is just an extra $9.99 a month.

Honestly though, most of us have already been paying for XBL and it's technically a different service. If we wanted to carry your theory to the next level,...

@ gamingunited

Yes, I agree with you on most of that but, on the bright side, at least Phil says this year will be different than last year!
Darthv72 pointed out the Sega meeting I'd read about already too, but I wonder who else is on board?

You sound just like me, lol!

For the assets, I assume it won't be all of them, but if it's getting pulled from an online database it quite possibly could include all of them from each game.
For the AI, I would like to be able to at least set patrol routes and boundaries for enemies (guards should guard an area, not chase you across the map).
I would think that missions and such will be memory constrained and not allow for a GTA style experience, bu...

Think of how nice Game Pass is for parents to buy their kids too! What kid wouldn't like hundreds of games, and what parent would balk at $120 a year for it? Kids get new games all year and parents don't have to go anywhere to get them.

You were saying you'd rather pay for a remaster in native 4K than get the X enhancement for free, which to me doesn't seem to be a good value since their image quality is nearly identical. My point was, "To me the differences are night and day between the originals and the X1 enhanced versions, and I don't see any artifacts that suggest the 1X isn't producing a clean 4K image." One very similar to native 4K, IMO.

You said, "...let me tell yo...

Honestly, I like the Far Cry campaigns, but the map editor is my poison. I'm so glad it's back!!!

"All Far Cry 5 players will also have access to Far Cry Arcade, the evolution of the map editor that will deliver an endless amount of free gameplay and map creation opportunities for players. Far Cry Arcade will include assets from previous Far Cry games as well as other Ubisoft titles, including content from Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, Assassin’s Creed Unit...

...and was still awesome too!

SoD2 looks more polished than the first for sure, plus coop added in is just awesome.

I'd rather be able to play the games I already own with free enhancements than have to pay more for a native 4K remaster simply because there's no choice. Besides, I doubt the difference between a 360 game in Native 4K and one upconverted from 720p (9x pixels) with both the original AA and X1's on top of that would look much different.

I know that they're upscaled, but is there a video of an X1 enhanced 360 title that doesn't look like native 4K to yo...

Ooh! Art assets from Watchdogs and Assassin's Creed in the Map Editor... SP, MP, and COOP map editing too! It also looks like lighting no longer bleeds through solid objects like walls. I'm really excited for the Editor!!!

OT: Why are the commentators so oblivious to the Map Editors though? Far Cry 1, 2, and 3 all had MP editing and Far Cry 4 had SP editing. Primal had nothing. They could have looked it up instead of sounding like fools trying to figure it ou...

Point taken, Godmars, but that doesn't explain your penchant for coming into every thread and saying something off-topic just to point it out. It's your (and others) need to point it out all the time that's uncalled for. All three companies suck so can we just move on already, please?

Yes, JackBNimble, I'm 12 for pointing out that MS has done away with generational consoles and that it's funny that so many people are still ignorant to what MS is doing with their older games on newer HW. Why can't you be more like Edmix, who at least tried to argue a different point (albeit while ignoring my own).

Edmix, what do I mean they won't NEED to be remastered? See: Witcher 2, Fable, Crackdown, and Forza Horizon. Look Ed, you're trying to te...

Truth hurts, doesn't it? MS doesn't build generational consoles anymore.

If you buy it for Xbox, it'll get better for free when the new system comes out so it won't need to be remastered.

Honestly TheXT, this comment is directed at Godmars but the point you brought up reminded me that not many functions would operate in FP16. That meant that the PS4 wouldn't magically produce 8.4TF worth of performance, but Sony's false statements would have less educated people believe otherwise:

Honestly, Dark Voyager, the first State of Decay was not only pretty original, but greater than the sum of its' parts would imply; plus part 2 has coop. The management aspects of the first game were incorporated in a way that made sense too.

Days Gone looks really generic. The gameplay video looked like any number of games that have been done to death already. Too many scripted events that string you along instead of giving the player real freedom of choice.

"Crackdown looked to deliver there, but as the article states, it has been delayed into obscurity for a reason."

Realtime Worlds helped Cloudgine build their cloud-enhanced processing technology through the development of Crackdown 3. Building Cloudgine is what's taken years and it just finished up recently, as evidenced by the Campaign getting started last year and more recent purchase of Cloudgine by Epic once the engine was finished.

Neil Blomkamp and Peter Jackson should have been green-lighted on the Halo Movie, TBH.

Fingers crossed that Spielberg can pull this off but my hopes aren't that high after what he did to Indiana Jones. 343/MS need to keep him in check on this one for sure.

Point taken! It's somewhat of a grey area, TBH, but I still feel it's mostly the consumers at fault because no one is forcing anyone to support MT's in the long run. Companies do also use a lot of shady tactics to hook people into the MT's though.

Disco mode
Enter "SNFFRR" as a code. This makes colors flash on screen and the animals and people dance.

My personal favorite!
