Nix, we're not talking about adding HDMI here, but a new console with better hardware. It screws everyone who helped Sony to get where they are today.
It was the "users" who didn't understand things like the relevance of the cloud, or that you could play used and share games just like any other console(in fact, better). "Users", who never used the console(?), acting like entitled brats through their ignorance.
MS should have been more clear, TBH, but everything was detailed at the E3 reveal. Besides that, Sony had DRM policies in place like MS did, but since they went second they were able to use t...
That's not what they said though.
It's good to see 1080p on XB1, but I'd like to see VR compatability on console as well. Either way it looks great.
@GreatGamer
Ahh, I see. You should have watched it first, as Seanpitt pointed out it was mentioned in the video. Besides the color/contrast disparity, they look identical to me with a pretty stable framerate too.
Isn't this article about Shenmue 3, a 3rd party title, possibly coming to XB1? Slappy brought up a flaw in Martinstring's comment, which I agree with, but all this other stuff is getting way off base.
Fruitjuice, I only pointed out one of your shortcomings before. I'd left out the fact that you mentioned a ton of 3rd party titles in your first post, when Neo says "...first party lineup..." TWICE in his (See: reading comprehension). So when you say things...
If you can't tell from the video, does it matter?
Fruitjuice, your reading comprehension could use a bit of work. You asked Neo,"...how exactly did Killzone fail?" Neo said, and I quote, "...failed to kill Halo...". Lol, indeed.
On a side note to those who seem confused by Slappy. As he pointed out, he was being sarcastic about those titles coming to XB1 because of Martinstrings, who made an inaccurate blanket statement about Sony's exclusives(and got a Well Said bubble???).
That said...
Did someone say commentator?
@johndoe
The consoles were both less powerful than expected by devs, and their traditional usefulness will be shortened as a result. 5 years is what the industry has suggested for both consoles, not me. It's MS themselves that claim 10 years, and considering devs are just starting to work with DX12 and haven't used the cloud yet either, they have greater longevity than Sony. As for the childish attack...
I think that your comment, coupled with your 9...
Not if he shoots first. ;)
Wow, right down to the late 70's hairdoo. It looks like he's got hat-hair though, maybe he just stepped off the set of Indiana Jones?
Star Wars: Storefront
What's going on here? Can't we even get reliable news about the name of an engine? Mistakes in articles like this are becoming way too common these days but is it the fault of the journalists or those that they interview though? Either way, it needs to stop...
Aww, too late. I was going to guess it involved Morpheus and an AO rating...
So true! I was just trying to say that FF exclusivity did move millions of consoles over the generation, starting with 7, that's all.
Irides from MS is an example of cloud assisted VR/AR technology that could be what will allow for Oculus Rift and Hololens to function as true VR/AR devices as well.
It's not widely known, but FF7 was actually running in prototype on an N64 before turning to PS1. CG video was the main reason for the switch. That switch helped sell tons of consoles before N64 could gain traction, and as PS1 install base grew, dev support grew along with it. Square and Sony share close ties to this day because of the successes they brought to one another.
It was one of the cornerstones of Playstation's success. Without it, Sony may not have overthrown Nintendo.
1. You're being an ignorant user with that post, because there was no "trap". The people who agree with you prove that users are ignorant more than I could on my own though, so thanks for the help.
2. MS said that you could take your disc to a friend's house and play it like normal. If access was attempted on the install without the disc, the system would ask you to put the disc back in OR buy a digital copy to continue playing. They also said that while they wouldn&...
