It's not that I love MS... It's that I like Sony less.

Yes, more choice is good for business.

Yep, that article. Thanks boodi, if I could copy/paste from IE on XB1 I'd have posted the link myself. I hope they have the feature in the new browser coming with the fall update.

Because I'd skimmed the article the first time I went back and re-read it.

They don't mention DX12 at all in the article, and they also mention that 1080p is a target for both titles. I think we all know what that means if we go by the trends...

Don't worry though Kaiser, we'll be able to see patched DX12 in console games when Fable releases, or if games like PCars get it in an update, and native DX12 games by holiday 2106.

The controller is still totally BA, but this (old) news was already posted here a few days ago.

Pay to Win is tolerable in a Free to Play game, but just barely. Cosmetics I can understand paying for but even those types of items used to be unlockables for achieving certain milestones, or were otherwise hidden in the games as rewards. TBH, I like how Ubi let's you get free stuff with the points you earn while playing their games.

I don't see it that way right now. Few games share the same resolutions on both consoles and this game is the exception, not the rule.

Devs are just now getting into everything that Win 10 is bringing to XB1. Now that they can purpose build their engines to take advantage of what DX12 offers to the Win 10 ecosystem, we will see what XB1 is truly capable of.

Oh, and before all the inevitable "moar powah ov DX12 nd teh cloudz" nonsense let's ...

They better have som very interesting games coming up very soon. They've don nothing very interesting for a very long time.

There are a lot of features that look amazing in Fallout 4. Don't let a few issues drag it down. I personally feel they should have amped up the fur/hair shaders, but Bethesda obviously felt there were better places the processing could be spent. I respect that.

We do still live in a world of concessions when it comes to gaming, after all, even on high end PC. The U4 "boy and his kite" and the Final Fanstasy tech demos still only represent the smallest fraction o...

EA is probably charging Ghost Games.

Nintendo should be all over this... in typical Big N fashion, supporting their dedicated fans by laying down the ban hammer, lol.

I wonder if this is what the NX could look like though?

There are tons of great games from 360 that people will want to play. It's not always about latest releases, I mean, story and gameplay are still going to entice new gamers and those feeling nostalgic as well.

You may be right, Meninblack. It was too time consuming to find all the data, TBH, so I just went off of memory. Maybe someone can tell me:

What percentage of Xbox owners bought Halo 2 at launch?
What percentage of 360 owners bought Halo 3 at launch?
What percentage of XB1 owners bought Halo 5 (physical and digital) at launch?

Logically, I think it's safe to say that Halo 2 would be highest in percentage because it piggybacked off the suc...

To add to your perspective, a Wal Mart is around the same size as the original map estimate(and usually full of the same types of people typically found roaming the wastelands too, lol).

The writer also said that Halo 4 and MCC tarnished the franchise but Halo 5 launched into a relatively small global install base compared to the others. The sales also have to do with MS having not earned back all the respect the XB1 lost at launch, and not moving as many new consoles as a result.

Did you turn your back on PS2?

Sony milked their fans with the internet adapter, multiplayer adapter, 8mb memory cards, and HDD add-on(which they failed to support as promised). So Xbox was 2.5 times more powerful and cost the same as a PS2, but PS2 required around $200 more in add-ons if you wanted the same HW features. If people would have been outraged then, as they should have been, they would have wisely chosen the Xbox and game support would have followed suit.

Great, now my 8th gen console can look like an Atari 2600.

I'm not in NXOE preview, but I've been noticing things are messed up for me the past few weeks. Anyone else having problems like:

-Controllers desyncing momentarily like it's resetting itself
-Occaisonal dashboard lag/guide button not responding
-IE locking up extremely often/significantly slower loading of web pages

All my games still work flawlessly, so I'm fairly certain it's not the console or my 45Mbps internet...

@cindy-rella

How do you get disagrees? As MS supporter, I see nothing out of line with your post. For anybody to have a chance of winning against Sony this gen, I think the PS4 manufacturing plant would have to burn down. Then again, they could spend a year rebuilding it and would probably still come out on top, lol. Best MS can do at this point is focus on games and gamers and show that they are serious enough to be considered for next gen.
