I never win anything! Perfect timing though, as it'll help out with the upcoming holidays.
My thanks to N4G for supporting us all with the contest, and congrats to all the other lucky October winners as well.
@u4one
Quit trash talking on 1992, bro. TV's ran at 240 by 320 back then. That's 25% more pixels than you suggested for that era. /s
@ stiggs
It's a Mad World, filled with worn out places and worn out faces.
I swear I hear the same thing from people every year.
I'm just going to say it like this:
No one really likes the politicians they vote for. What they're really doing is voting against the politicians they like less. That's why I said at least MS has Bill Gates doing something good with my investment.
I didn't have to research anything, I've lived through it all. Matter of fact, this isn't the only Play Station prototype. They showed one that added to the bottom of the SNES and featured t...
Dear Crystal Dynamics,
"Would you kindly" remake Blood Omen in the style of The Witcher? ;b
He got the remote controlled lighting kit from Parts Express. I swear you could buy anything you'd ever need to build with from PE. This is one talented modder.
Is the D-pad a bit longer in the downwards direction?
You're just making that up. ;b
Apex, you mind showing us where Avalanche mentions DX12 is being used? DX12 can't even run on XB1 yet, and none of the MS published software uses it this holiday either.
You seem to have more need to prove DX12 isn't going to help than people who support it argue otherwise. You sound really deperate, and ignorant, with all your secret sauce BS. Everyone here knows DX12 will improve things but few, if any, think XB1 will outperform PS4 with it. Grow up, dude.
Wait, did Aaron say something smart?
@bullymangler
You don't know the half of it. They weren't just like this with Nintendo, but it's why I started to hate Sony. After that I realized I need to research the standards of the companies I choose to support.
Sony's been an arrogant company from day one. But like mindless sheep, people still live in Sony's make.believe world to this day. No one cares that they bought Aiwa, a great company who was becoming a threat to Sony's au...
Like she showed class with her trashy, click-bait article? All I'm gonna say is that whatever she was shaking, it wasn't pretty... or smart.
Agreed. While I think staggered sticks feel better and the XB1 triggers feel more like a real gun, especially when the impulse triggers are enabled, the truth is that the debate is about preference and nothing more.
See, left Twix and right Twix can get along with one another just fine, as long as they're both making fun of fruit cakes.
PC has always been able to scale to different levels of processing, but I'm sure it will be more of a challenge to have the engine run both 100% local and split up with the cloud. I don't see any reason why your suggestion would be impossible though so I hope it comes to fruition.
PSVR is still a prototype too since it's not at retail yet, but it's more mature technology so there's more studios on board. VR tech piggybacked off of the tech established for 3D TV's and added motion tracking.
Cloudgine is currently unique to Crackdown 3. Come to think of it, Brad Wardell is the only guy with a functional DX12 engine too, just like CD3 has the only Cloudgine code running. Brad intends to share what he's learned with other devs, so in r...
@amiga man, post 1.1.5
DX12 isn't even on the console yet and I'm not even sure if any 3rd party devs have the tools in their kits to support DX12 either. Hell, the only game I know that even supports DX12 on console is Fable, coming out next year, and it's not even built to use it properly since it's been patched in.
Back on topic, we all know that a 1080p PS4 title generally runs at 900p on XB1, and in rare cases at 1080p as well. To see XB...
Just going off your post here, but have you considered that maybe there's no season pass info because the dlc is free? It would be a bit weird if they waited a year to do a season pass because many gamers would move on by then, but R6 will always have a cult following so who knows. IMO, nothing beats a good terrorist hunt with the settings turned up to 11 so I'm in regardless.
Seriously Apex, if you take the time to post you should at least know enough to understand what the facts are. It seems like you just enjoy poking at the hornets nest.
Here's how I see the topics you discuss:
Gears 4 is actually made by COG, which is a studio made up of former Epic employees who worked on the Gears Trilogy. They are more directly tied to Gears than 343i is to Halo.
We both know an Uncharted port won't happen for legal...
