So in your world, Spotie, a 9800 and a 2.4ghz quad core are considered high specs? Sounds to me like a lot of PC's are VR ready. Also, the OR version DK2 includes OLED screens just like Morpheus, so per-pixel quality is now the same.
EDIT:

A nude mod could be considered increasing visual quality. Funny thing, preference.
Motion sickness symptoms include disorientation, headaches, and nausea. Lag can increase the severity of these effects due to the offset between physical movement and the visuals.
What? You're saying there's more PS4's than PC's?
I'll bet that of the 2 or 3 announcements Mike Ybarra recently commented would be made within 12 months, one of them will revolve around Irides allowing VR support on XB1 as well. Cloud compute/OR FTW!
It's like the difference between a candy bar and a home cooked meal. A sugar rush only carries you so far...
Mike Ybarra hinted at 2 or 3 big ideas of the same scope as BC being announced within 12 months. The source article, from Windows Central, also generalizes performance gains from DX12(I.E. not massive) as well as mentions how Win 10 updates can also affect future console graphics performance. Win 10 and DX12 seem to be working together to improve XB1 capabilities.
Wow, I thought I had a lot of Legos. Really impressive build too!
I bet it's because of the nude mod for the PC! ;D
Halo 5 put XB1 on top with just a few days of sales in October. Let's see what XB1/Halo 5 does for November...
Thanks for your educated response, Medman. TBH, you almost sound worried that your plastic box may be showing signs of slowing down. Just relax, there's no way MS can win the generation.
Whatever it means is irrelevant because the fact remains that it's still less than 2:1, which is all I ever mentioned. As Rain suggested though, the percentage gap was wider than this before.
I heard you would be able to do that in 4d too, lol.
More to the point, while poking fun at the 360, Ken also told us at the PS3 reveal that as long as there was a Playstation the brand would be backwards compatable. Then they took it out...
@ Heavy
We know you didn't buy a PS4 to play PS3 games because it can't, and it won't.
Lol at the disagrees!
The article says 27.7 million for PS4 and 15.1 million for XB1. I said less than 2:1, and it is.
BC for XB1 will sell consoles.
People can upgrade to XB1 and still play games with friends who haven't, plus they can encourage their friends to do the same. It always sucks when you first upgrade and only have a few games to play, which BC helps out with too.
Also looks like the XB1 is now less than a 2:1 margin behind PS4.
Good for a spare, competitive with 1st party, miles away from an Elite(which is pretty much what I said).
I imagine EA stepping into the Reddit offices in a brown cloak, waving a hand in the air, and proclaiming, "This is not the publicity we're looking for."
Button mapping and headset functions from the controller are nice for the price, but a wired controller with lights is not even close to an Elite. Sorry.
@Divine
There was a Game Informer cover around 15 years ago that had shown Duke(Nukem) "supporting" a topless Lara's assets to promote an article about sex and violence in games. Thankfully, gaming has become much more tasteful since then.
Yeah, and with Panos Panay at the helm for the next XBOX the hardware should be amazing tech too.
