I doubt it's really on top as bundled content isn't included.
True for today but this game won't be ready for a few years yet when those bits of hardware will likely be in the budget section.
But with more PS4 pre-orders it's logical there would be more game pre-orders.
Titanfall will also be a PC game and I really don't know many PC gamers that have the need to pre-order anything - it's out, you buy it if the reviews are good.
If anything I'd prefer not to see exclusive games so we can pick the hardware that just suits us best - much like buying TV's, HiFi, DVD/Blu-Ray players.
Of all the console generations the PS4 and X1 should have been offering cross multiplayer gaming as overall their so similar - and that would have been better for all of us.
But then that old drive, which will be full of data, is obsolete.
When you fill up your car don't forget we're taking the wheels away just in case you drive off and have an accident - prevention is better than cure!
So how much piracy was caused by the use of external drives on the PS3?
Also the article refers figures just to HDD connection but no mention of memory / flash sticks which are likely used a lot more.
I'm not suggesting that it's the end of the line for consoles BUT it wouldn't be the 1st time the console took a nose dive in favour of the home computer.
Who wanted a console when you could have a home games computer like Atari 8bit/ST, Commodore 64 / Amiga, Sinclair Spectrum.
Also if you think of the next gen console from an ECO friendly environment it would be near the bottom - all the raw power being used just for games and a few minor tasks. Home comp...
At least supporting external drives would have gotten around the big storage shortage that I suspect most owners will be experiencing quite soon.
I got a 500gb on the PS3 that is nearly full due to all those free PSN titles so on a PS4 it's going to be like using a 60gb!
Man I'd forgotten about that:)
Win 8 may come pre installed but it still has a tiny market share. The majority of PC's are Win7 followed closely by XP so IE 11 would have to be an installed product.
I've been using Firefox for years but have switched to IE 11 mainly due to Mozilla adding features that now make using it a pain if you like multiple windows over tabs.
And something else to throw into the equation is that in Europe Windows comes with multiple choices of browsers due to...

Well yup. I'm quite sure if the PS4 had a fully functioning Chrome, Mozilla etc web browser it would have been all over the web.
Rather what we have is NOTHING, in fact from all the searching I've only managed to find that for some it doesn't even work with Youtube.
I'm guessing the PS4 browser is another flop as I've not really heard anything about it.
When I read you couldn't play mp3's I thought it might be ok as I could still use the browser to link to Amazon cloud music etc and play flash / browser games.
Now the question if the X1 browser is the full IE package then it should be able to do all of those things.
Some of the browser games are massive and I can play them on my PC and iPad.
I guess their expecting the UK to bale them out as we're being hit with a price tag of $561 just for the base console :)
...... and not even an Amazon 2 for 1 in sight!
It's more like $561 in UK!!
Here's my 1 concern - Shuhei Yoshida IS NOT SONY CORP Ltd
He can say what he likes and it's NOT legally binding to Sony Ltd
What IS a legal document though is the T&C's which state you cannot resale disc or downloaded software
Now I'm not thinking Sony would be daft enough to try it in the short term but I bet it will come into force - and they'll just point to an old T&C and say it's been there since 2013
You know it took them years to refine that perfect blend :)
I've been a Plus member for over a year and have found it good value BUT I still feel that I should have the choice and not be forced.
I think it would have been much better if it had carried on much the same as PS3 but with added features like access to dedicated servers and optimal HQ VOIP.
Netflix, Lovefilm, NowTV are also behind Sony's paywall on PS4. Even on PS3 you now need to have a PSN account and sign in to use them.
I don't think this video shows off the differences as it's in 720p while PS4 version run at 1080p.
And I can't believe PS4 version won't be using anti aliasing either.
Got great reviews when running on PC
