Day / night and realtime dynamic weather effects would certainly add more depth to the game.
Im finding the quick scoping for any scoped weapons is ruining multiplayer games
The problem with digital that ppl seem to fail to grasp. It is not an alternative to buying a physical product; governments have failed to make sure you have the same legal rights even after all this time.
Theres always that tlimmer of hope eh.
Unfortunately this doesnt bode well for the remasters
CoDs have quick scoping so you dont need to aim while BF is weighted properly
The last campaign I really enjoyed in the BF series was BF Bad Company 2
So agree but that was when we could use proper servers and game development by proper coders. Now its all invisible walls, no bots to fill player spots, poor player to player syncing and lag and a total lack of map imagination.
The game content gets smaller and smaller, DLC content gets smaller, prices keep going up far beyond inflation, and micro transaction content is getting larger while earned or random drops get smaller and smaller - and if that wasn't enough the game coding is generally full of errors that often never get fixed.
Says something when the current expansion is now free!
If you found a copy of typical high profile 1980's gaming magazine what would stand out compared to today is the quality of reviews. It wouldnt just be a variation of a marketing press release, the reviews would be detailed with information on all aspects of the content being offered - maps, game modes, options etc etc.
Decades after? This is just a company that purchased a name and has, had nothing to do with Atari of the 70's 80's
So £2-£3 for PC version with texture upgrade mod or £30 to do the same thing by EA for PS4 / Xbox - slight rippoff
Cheers for the link Godmars290
Seems a rather large yet very different assortment of consoles were bundled into the 2nd generation.
Seems to be far more emphasis on how to squeeze more cash out of the customer.
PS. I'm lost on these generations; MS have only got 4 consoles or are we talking generations from the Fairchild in 1978??
I wonder how many multiplayer maps will be cut and resold as the season pass this time. 16 to 9 so I guess 5
and DLC from 4 to 3 so I guess 2.
And wheres the Mens theme for the other 364 days?
If the PS5 follows on from the PS4 design then it would naturally be able to play PS4 games - just like a PC can play older games. If it turns out it can't then I'd say it will have been deliberately designed not too and just away to sell you remasters, NOW Games etc etc
I still have a PS3; gets used for the odd blu-ray movie and unique games - loaded up Warhawk a week ago just out of curiosity and there are still servers up!!!
I STILL go back and get a lot of enjoyment playing it. There's so many custom maps out there and game conversions ie. Tiberian Dawn Redux which is a superb version of the original C&C - http://www.moddb.com/mods/c...
It is a really great shame online player count info isnt available. I would certainly buy older multiplayer games, map packs, season passes etc if I knew there were other players around.
Just purchased Tomb raider the definitive version as I found out it still has a healthly online player count.
On the other hand Ive purchase CoD season passes in the sales and theres virtually no players online so a complete waste of money (wont be falling for that again).
