Looking forward to this quite a bit.
Nope...Sorry author, your opinion sucks.
I have no idea how they are going to salvage the story, if they even care to.
The game play is rock solid, and hence why I keep playing and grinding with my friends. But wow, the content is light....
Yeah, I was hoping for a little more as well.
Yup, it is.
Yeah, playing Destiny because after the drought of summer, I wanted a video game to play.
I wanted a Mass Effect + Borderlands, but didn't get it. Still enjoying my time with the game though. The gameplay itself is rock solid.
I enjoyed the game as well. The music and art design were outstanding.
Can't say it was the "best game of 2014" though.
This game certainly looks excellent, but I've heard "this is the biggest RPG thing" so much, Im starting to believe it is just marketing hype.
I hope I'm wrong.
Will probably pick this up on discount. There are a lot of great games coming out in a few weeks!
Ha, the review is very timely!
That said, it is a great game. An unsung hero of fantastic JRPGs.
To the moon is excellent.
And hopefully ps4
Yeah, there is just too much out right now to justify this as a 60 dollar last gen purchase.
I liked the title as well.
I think there is some truth to this.
The endgame content seems to appeal to the RPG/grindy player and not the usual COD/Battlefield player.
That said, Bungie needed to do a better job at selling that COD/Battlefield crowd on its game and its endgame content. A coherent story would have helped along with some explained mechanics.
Im enjoying the game now that the sting of it not being one part boarderlands, one part mass effect, and one par...
Its a great weapon, but there are other options out there as well.
Suros is just popular because you could buy it from Xur two weeks ago.
It really looks like Bioware put a lot of effort into this game.
Maybe to make amends for the ending of ME3 and the abysmal DA2.
I think its safe to say this is the most hated addictive game created in the last few years.
Its fun to hate. Its actually fun to play as well (if you know what kind of grind-fest you are getting into)
"Marketing prevailed?"
Maybe because the gameplay is rock solid and the grindy thing with your friends is fun is why people are still playing it.
Still, the game could have been so much more!
