I didn't think it was a flaw at all.
The lack of CP's were there to irritate you ON PURPOSE. That game had you where it wanted you when you were irritated and frustrated...you move to fast. Do something stupid...dead again. It actually made your emotions part of the mechanic to raise difficulty.
It was a brilliant use of the mechanic actually. Besides, most bosses had a short cut that you could get back pretty quickly.
I also completely agree with the author.
Once the sting of the missed opportunity subides, you are left with a rock solid shooter with lots of perks, builds and classes to play around with.
No remaster. I want a new one.
I hope so.
I wont have to grind Crota's End at all any more other than Crota and now Deathsinger.
The real question to me is what type of material is required to upgrade the raid gear?
Will it be a raid specific material like in Crota's End?
I love both, but I'm very curious to what they do with Fallout now that Skyrim has shipped (and shipped awhile ago actually).
This man is a true gem in gaming.
I will gladly purchase every game he ever makes until he quits making them.
Yup, that list is pretty much in line with what I thought. Always amazed at how many people use Auto Rifles when there are so many different options that IMO are more fun to use.
The real standout there is Fatebringer (the HC). Since it only drops on Hard VOG at Templar and it is in the top 5...it means just about everyone who has one uses one!
Long live Fatebringer.
Oh, its just a fun gun to have. I too am a hunter and a primarily pve player. I probably wouldn't slot a Thorn for exteremly high level content, but for strikes and messing around, its alot of fun. Oh, and for pvp of course.
Hand Cannons are fast and a little frantic and the crit shots are that much more satisfying. Try leveling up a Fatebringer if you have one. That gun made me believe in hand cannons.
Suros and VoC are certainly good choices, bu...
All good man! Sorry to sound so accusatory. So many people beat up on Destiny and use bad information to do so.
That said, you should reconsider Hand Cannons. They rock!
Ironic post considering you flat out made sheet up in your comment below.
That said, I do agree with you point in this particular post.
Nah. It might just mean the game is not for you.
You bought a Thorn from Xur? No you didn't. You didn't get one as a reward either (unless you consider the exotic weapon bounty a reward).
Thorn is only acquired through the Weapon bounty.
You are lying.
If you read the whole thing in an Australian accent (as they live in Melbourne), its actually a little funny.
The operative word was "marginally." It was in reference to the fact you need commendations to buy a chest piece and a helm (which you should have as an exotic piece first anyway). Commendations require you to be level 3 or higher.
In other words, you MUST reach a rank of 3 to get a full level 31 set. Before it was just rank 2 and marks to hit 29.
So, yes, it is MARGINALLY more burdensome, but not wholesale harder. Just takes about
anot...
Yes, Destiny is accessible to new players. The way it is set up, it is only MARGINALLY more burdensome to level up to 31 as it was to level 29 pre-dlc.
It really hoses the advanced players though.
I am a professional and a gamer. I do NOT broadcast that to the people I work with. There is just no need.
Easily the most misuderstood game of last generation.
Its very rough, but there is some brilliance there as well.
The soundtrack is god-tier.
Wow,
MS is really trying to narrow the gap at all costs.
Cheese is merely convenience. If rewards were rolled out a little more frequently (Though Crota's end is better than VoG), then it would take the steam off the cheesers.
Instead, Bungie requires players to GRIND time consuming content on THEIR schedule. This cannot be understated. GRIND ON THEIR TIME. This automatically pits players against the developer.
Since there is no matchmaking, you are often forced to hop on LFG sites to PUG. There is little ...
