Really?
Well, Bloodborne supposedly has a slightly different combat feel than the Souls games. It will however just be slight IMO.
I don't agree in this particular case. For the majority of games, sure, sliding difficulty levels do not add or substract anything from the core gaming experience.
For FromSoftware's stuff, the difficulty is at the crux of the experience and tampering with that completely destroys what they are trying to accomplish.
"Mixed Reaction" meaning game reviewers deciding to lambast the game for it not being the game they thought it was going to be?
(I mean, they do have a point).
Destiny doesn't get its hooks in you until you start teaming up with people and taking on the raids and nightfalls.
I agree with the point of the Narrative being a complete mess and the game would benefit greatly if it improved.
The game is rich in lore actually, but Bungie made a very strange choice to make it only accessable on a website.
At least put it in the game for heaven's sakes.
Most of the content is soloable. The Raid isn't (unless you are a very skilled player on Crota's End..VoG you could two man the whole thing). Nightfalls ca...
They aren't.
Particularly, Gjallarhorn. Yes, they did on week two, but havent since.
I hope they learned the lesson that if you give time to talented studios, good things happen.
With Ubisofts track record over the last year. No thank you.
Will wait for reviews.
You do realize the article is SATIRE right?
All comes down to preferance really and what you are trying to accomplish. This is my list as for raid and team play.
Titan - Defenders are always useful and teams are stronger with them. You can get real creative with those bubbles.
Bladedancers don't have the best super around, but the invis perks and agility are extremely useful when attempting some of the content that needs a little finess. (Ie, can run like hell and not get caught...solo gateke...
You could make a good argument that the Souls game is really a 3D Castlevania. A glimpse of a gaming future we never got.
Id love for From Software to revist Tenchu.
Eww, no raid/matchmaking in a traditional sense. That said, an In game board and quick messaging system where you can pick and choose who you raid with would be a cool feature. Essentially destinylfg but in the game.
Agree with no more currencies. Way too much.
Well, gear becoming obsolute when new content is released is nothing new for MMOish type games. Besides, many of the raid weapons from VoG do just fine in CE...even through hard mode. (IE. Fateb...
The glitches are particularly rough because to beat Crota on Hard, you need 6 people essentially not to make a mistake. Thats tough enough, but when the glitches happen (and almost always right at the end and close to victory), its rage inducing.
There is alot of pressure on this man for sure.
Kind of doubt it. But it makes no difference to me. Give me Uncharted!
The bugs are a problem. Absolutely. No doubt about it.
But these bugs are really in the context of the content itself.
Hard Mode Crota is Hard. Artifically? Maybe, but regardless, it is hard. It takes damn near perfect execution to beat Crota on Hard. Not just perfect execution of one player. But 6 players.
Simply stated, that's a tall order and not all players are that good.
In that context, that is what mak...
Same here. If I look at it as hours played...Destiny is my GOTY.
Destiny is a disspointment if you held it against what was promised. An opportunity missed for sure.
If you could get past that, then you were left with a rock solid fps with some interesing end game content. And a very passionate and funny community.
Well, its a demo made for on a convention floor playing...so, you can't really judge.
Two, there were alot of these articles before the release of Dark Souls, and we were all wrong.
So, take it easy. In Myzaki (Sp) I trust.
At no point should any bonuses be tied to review scores. Its stilly.
Huh?
Entitlemenet?
