Do you think that Witcher 3 would be anywhere as close to ambitious if it weren't for the projected sales of the console crowd?
Im absolutely okay with this. Developers need to take as much time as they need to make sure games release as bug free as possible.
Wont matter.
Those two great companies (especially Squaresoft) destroyed themselves.
We all know the game is starved for content, but the gameplay and the game with friends is a ton of fun. Add in some loot drops and you have a team slot machine game.
The wall is simply this.
You grind all the armor to hit 32. You ran hard mode Crota and got all the primaries. In preparing for this, you probably have alot of exotics but are missing one or two.
Then you slowly come to the realization that grinding all that content over and ...
Day 1 DLC is a travesty. It should not exist. There is no "honest" reason that it should.
Here is my guess. Publishers want to charge more for a video game than 60 bucks. For whatever reason, publishers are in lock step on pricing on this. So instead of raising the price to where they feel the game should be priced at, they "Day One DLC" to make up the difference.
Then, of course, there is the thought that "because all games are ...
Game is a must play for the writing and art direction.
Gameplay is pretty meh, but thats not really why anyone played adventure games to begin with.
Not really an FPS guy, but the more games for more people is a win.
Ha, this game annoyed the sheet out of me as a kid.
Looks like it still will.
Sometimes, things are better left in the past.
If they wanted to remake an old game, why not remake the original Castlevania? That would be pretty sweet come to think of it.
Indeed, hard to tell. I've heard that rumor before.
Regardless, the story is almost incoherent. Something MUST have happened. Some consideration. Bungie isn't stupid, there is a reason its like this...either in our out of their control.
Having the story in the Grimoire cards is fine, but FFS, put them in the game.
You know, now that Im thinking about it...I wonder if Bungie due to having to cross generation develop this game didn't have room to put the cards in the game.
That would make alot of sense actually. These guys aren't stupid.
I know everyone is trying to compare the two games, but come on.
May does seem a little long. I hope we hear soon.
After this week. I am retiring until HoW comes out.
Ultimately, I belive this is where Video Games will make its mark on the whole "are video games art" debate.
Not with the spoken narrative, but with story telling that is pieced together through exploration and the world around the player. Movies are narratives on rails, to an extent, even books as well (though they are allowed more leeway in narrative structure).
Video games can have the player assemble the story in different ways. Different order...
Refuse to watch this. The best part of FromSoftware's games are just to let them happen to you without any clue of what is going on.
From has given me no reason to doubt them. They have my Day 1 purchase.
Can't watch it. FromSoftware since Demon's Souls has given me no reason to doubt what they produce.
Day 1 for me.
That comment on the video is too specific about Deej's experience with the team that controls Xur to not have a ring of truth.
I don't believe for one second that Xur is random. There may be some randomness to the telementaries/synth etc. MAYBE, but as for armor and weapons. Not a chance. Not a flippin chance.
I do not understand (1) why people care so much whether Xur is RNG or not, and (2) what difference does it make if he is or isnt?
...
Well, this is certainly news. Of course gender has no bearing on telling a good story. A good story is a good story.
Well said.
At its core, Scrolls, Fallouts IMO are a solitary experience of an individual exploring the wastes. To make this a multiplayer/co-op would complete change the soul of the game.
While each raid has its own feel, overall, I think Vault of Glass is a mechancially more interesting raid.
Crota's is not bad as the lamps and the bridge section have a good feel to them.
But deathsinger and then Crota with the focus on ONE player only kind of loses its steam a little bit.
They ripped apart Destiny for what was "promised" instead of what was "delivered."
What was promised should be talked about, but Im not sure it should be included in a review of what was delivered.
Don't know about Evolve. It is probably a game that people have to really start getting into before its true worth can be valued.
