I think there are more deserving JRPG's out there that should be in line before Ni No Kuni.
Depends on the exotic you are missing!
I mean, I would love to see a proper ps4/pc/xbox MH5, but Im all in for this anyway!
I can name all of the faults of destiny and probably add a few more to the list. And every one is very valid.
That said, I have clocked over 400 hours in that damn game.
More than any other game I've ever played.
The gameplay is rocksolid awesome. The guns and build are fantastic. The raids are pretty unique experieces on consoles..
The franchise is here to stay. Lets hop the sequal fixes the huge issues.
Huh? Ps4 and XboxOne are selling quite a few consoles. (Ps4 in particular).
Gamers are getting on board with the new generation. Its publishers and developers who don't want to invest in new games and new IP.
Dear Capcom,
Please consider making a Monster Hunter 5 for the ps4 and bringing it to the USA.
XOXO,

Loved Skyrim for sure, but there is an illusion that is created by Skyrim (Obilivion, Dragon Age and a few others) that there is actual "Freedom."
It looks like you are making choices, doing quests, making things happen, but nothing is changing. Just because you can walk around a big map without a load screen does not mean you have freedom in a game.
If anything in Skyrim and Dragon Age (DA to a lesser extent), you are very confined into what you ca...
There have been a few of these articles as of late.
One semi-bummer exclusive and everyone is saying Ps4 needs a PR boost?
Seems fine to me.
Regardless, Bloodborne....Effing Bloodborne.
I too am in the same boat. Never really was a FPS guy, online multiplayer..etc.
Though my days of playing it daily are over, I still enjoy playing it.
I think I heard that the dungeon gets signifiantly harder each time you re-roll it. In other words, this dude may have finished the FIRST roll at it, and noting awesome dropped. Later, the rewards are probably better.
Regardless, it doesn't really matter. These games were never about the loot anyway. Very few major things dropped randomly. Every piece of gear and weaponry was placed somewhere for a reason.
So yeah...TLDR...who cares?
I mean, none of those are really similar (except for Lords of the Fallen), but yeah, chances are high that if you like the Souls games you are likely into fantasy games and would probably like the others on the list.
For alot of players. Absolutely.
Not everyone has 3 max characters who snag 28 strange coins a week and cannot clear Xur's inventory every week. Some players actually have to make choices on what to buy.
Hell, I picked up Red Death last week and have 3 maxed characters. So yeah, depending on your needs, he can be relevant.
Nah,
If you said this comment in 2008, then I would have agreed, but I think developers are starting to realize that QTE's aren't the solution.
There will be a few around, but I think they hayday is over.
It is the "A" team. Miyazaki at the helm leading his talented team of art designers who can somehow read his mind.
Demon's Souls and Dark Souls are arguably the best games to come out last generation. (Arguably) But both deserve top 10 honors for sure.
Dark Souls (as explained by Miyazaki) was going for a more melencholic feel. One in which it suceeds in and does so beautifully. A forsaken and forgotten world slowly rotting.
...
Obvious troll.
Not watching this either.
The best part of FromSoftware's games are seeing what it has in store for the first time without knowing ANYTHING.
Playthroughs on these types of game often vary wildly. Skill, speed, experience all play factors.
My guess that my playthrough time will be between 40-60 hours.
I don't preorder either.
Preorders are a funny holdover back when games could be scare. Now, the only think you really need to preorder are Nintendo products/games.
It really is a terrible practice.
Im not worried because its FromSoftware and specifically Miyazaki.
That's a little tricky to answer and depends on how much time the player wants to invest in the games.
Though Demon's is my favorite, I would say to limit a lot of hours playing to start with Dark Souls.
