Well, you could always be playing with your really good friend and get a great W/L even if you suck, but W/L doesn't reflect that. Also, you could be playing great and going for objectives, but it doesn't matter if your teammates suck and get killed all the time. Still, W/L doesn't reflect it at all. That's why I like to view W/L along with K/D to judge a player properly.
WTF, man. I get about 1Mb per second when downloading off of the PS3...
CAPS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!11!ONE!11!
Technically, the game has a built in rewards system for each playthrough. I honestly don't understand the whole need for trophies. I'm on my 5th playthrough of MGS4 for the BBE run and I'm still loving it, with or without trophies.
MGS4 was pure art, that's really all there is to it. My favourite game of all time.
@helghast102
I would put Music last in order of importance, IMO. I'm not undermining the importance of music at all, considering my favourite piece is The Best is Yet to Come from MGS1, but I think it's not that relevant in many games now.
Physics > Graphics
To a certain extent, of course.
@deadpoole
Pre-alpha is just an overall stage in development. Generally, animations are not fully made, graphics are not at full potential, and drastic gameplay changes can occur from then to release date.
You're probably the type of guy who started crying once you got betrayed by Shepard in MW2.
...wtf?
Nintendo had a lot of great first party games, but little to no third party support. The only thing wrong with their first party games was their reliance on the same franchises over and over again. Still, the games managed to be quite different, and cheers to that.
Yeah, that was one really good thing about the extra screen I noted. A lead developer at DICE was talking about how they could use the extra screen as sort of a commander's control, since placing airstrikes and giving orders would be much easier with the touch screen.
I agree with what you said, but honestly, what kind of real PS3/360 FAN will actually switch sides to Nintendo? I think people have learned that gimmicks don't equal fun because of the Wii. I'm not bashing on Wii games, since there are a lot of good ones, but most of them didn't even really utilize motion controls. The smart consumer knows that the Wii U is even near the hardware potential of the current times, and that since the next console generation is around the corner, it wo...
What is this? Did someone say something about free will of mankind?! He better hide, or FOX will be up on his ***.
Oh, my mistake. Thanks for clearing that up.
All LulzSec did was DDOS. I'm no expert on this, but apparently it's quite easy for anyone to do.
For a person like me who has a phobia of blood, I think Mortal Kombat would be the game to irk me when playing against Skarlet, lol.
Honestly, if anything, PC Gaming is dying. This is coming from a guy who is about to build a gaming PC, as well. Consoles have corporate backing; marketing that will lead to sales. Since PCs are multipurpose, there's no real focus to them so consumers get confused. It's far easier to set up a console than a PC for gaming, and that's the inherit reason consoles are overtaking PCs in the gaming industry.
ROFL! Bubbles up!
Just because it's the US doesn't mean it's right and has no reason to learn from the rest of the world. In Canada, minors are prohibited from buying Mature rated video games for good reason. Generally, Canada has a much lower number of loud, ignorant and self-absorbed teens and preteens than the US when playing online multiplayer. The reason is clear: it's easier for good parents. Parents trying to enforce rules upon their children can't really help it if they can go outsi...
