It seems to be from a first person perspective judging from the picture with the multiple enemies; you can see the knife from the character's perspective. I'm not sure if it was confirmed before, though. Other than that, the environment seems intriguing. The vehicle seems sort of like a carriage, and the combat shot shows a bit of a classic setting. With Bethesda making this, I think I'm hyped up already. Here's hoping for an expansive, open world with some RPG elements!

Also, there are always areas in CoD maps where only your head pokes out, leading to easy kills.

Lol, is that what you call it?

I *would* like this, but the fact that CoD 4's gunplay (just as the later installments') was based on good internet connection and reflexes rather than thought-out plays. Still, good to know that their going back to what was so good back then. If they do something about the issues I mentioned, I might be interested in getting MW3 after all.

Rofl, all we need to see now is the generic purple-haired eight-year-old girl.

Planetside...

Also, as much as I like MAG, the battlefield command system was poorly done. I don't blame the developers though, as it's really hard to make sure all the leaders are good and mature.

Sorry, I meant PS3's instead of accounts. Basically the same way game-sharing works.

Golden Eye had smooth aiming controls? O.O

I believe that as long as the game allows itself to be played online for a week or two on unregistered PS3's, there should be no problem. Yes, rentals will still flourish, but games could also be lent to friends with no real outcry from the gaming community, while letting used game sales bring money back to developers.

Also, to solve to problem of multiple PS3's in a household, perhaps having an upwards of 5 associated accounts would work, just like how PSN games w...

Explains in the article; it's just a promotional app.

I would say the same, but all the 3D Pokemon games lacked severely in content. Pokemon Colosseum, for example, was a great game but had a short story line, only a few places to go to, and I believe had a lot of Pokemon cut out. Although it had solid game mechanics (unlike the following 3D Pokemon game, Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, which sucked), I would much rather have the classic 2D Pokemon because the development time allows for much more content to be added.

ROFL!

Coming from a PS3/PC fan, that was a classy jab. Bubs up!

5307d ago 2 agree0 disagreeView comment

Exactly. It's just like comparing Minecraft and Terraria, except LBP has logic components.

5307d ago 1 agree1 disagreeView comment

Judging from your previous posts, I'm pretty sure that's sarcasm. Please stop trying and go back to playing CoD.

@MAJ0R

And MMO-style level-up limit? Lol

Demos for such games would deter potential buyers rather than secure them. Start at a low level and the game will be too boring for a demo; start at a high level and the game will lose the freshness of the progression.

WTF? So games that can last you 50+ hours like Oblivion shouldn't be bought new because they have no multiplayer? How about Mass Effect 2?

5308d ago 6 agree1 disagreeView comment

I agree, but this wasn't about GT.

5308d ago 21 agree25 disagreeView comment

While that would be good, open betas just aren't treated like betas anymore. Whenever people hear beta, they start to think demo. If anyone's dissapointed with glitches in the beta phase (which there are bound to be in any game), chances are idiots won't buy the game. Also, the freshness factor is lessened when you play a game pre-release.

That's the reason I hate EA for making Origin. There was already a centralized system in place, but they decide to completely change that and separate communities. The same thing happened with MGO when Konami didn't want to use PSN, and that led to terrible download times, along with having to re-add all of my friends on it.

Agreed. Just a tiny bit less jaggedness on the PS3 version.
