You do understand that Defence of the Ancients is copyrighted by Blizzard, and Valve therefore can't use many things such as names of certain units and the name of the mod itself? This is a standard procedure in games. Any company would want to avoid any potential use of their game to make profits for people without their consent.
Majority of people usually say MGS3 is their favourite.
...really?
Absolutely. Going back into Shadow Moses was simply humbling. So much nostalgia playing the original game.
Unfortunately, I've read that Bethesda is not planning on different areas of Tamriel for DLC.
You actually post outside the forums? TIL...
Agreed completely.
Everywhere has its fair share of the crazy people.
But yeah, the Iranian government is being very immature about this.
Shitty controls?
CoD 4 was not realistic at all. I agree with your last point though, there's no reason to choose full out realism over fun.
Yeah, jets in 30 metres by 30 metres maps? It would be like a dream come true! /s
Nah, the 10 would be MGS4 ;)
Trust me, I'm had terrible run ins with CoD games, buying WaW and Black Ops, but the hate on it is quite exaggerated, although not entirely undeserved. When you run into a full party of snipers, just leave. That's the magic of the CoD playerbase. Your in another game in 20 seconds flat.
I understand your feelings, but why do you, and so many other people of the community, take it so personally? I like realistic shooters as well, but what's wrong in a little fun? If your dad was getting kills within 25 minutes, isn't it good that the game lets many people enter the video gaming environment? I may or may not be getting MW3, as I'm currently undecided, but I see nothing wrong with a game that lets you jump in on the action quickly and keep you there rather than maki...
The problem was that there were many enemies, especially near the end that would move way too fast to be killed accurately with just turning your character or holding R. The game didn't let you move, aim and shoot at all, making it extremely frustrating to play.
Terrible controls, but great game.
Yeah, I was amazed when I learned about that. Also, the Dr. House-looking guy with the valve in his eye means "open your eyes." Valve is truly a great developer and publisher, and a nice breath of fresh air from the greedy idiots ruining the industry these days.
Lol, for that piece of crap? I know almost all games are inspired from others, but that PoS rip-off shouldn't earn the devs a cent at all.
I wouldn't say that it was made for Kinect, per say, but Kinect definitely does add that bit of extra spice to the recipe just like how GT5 did it with the PS Eye.
The last one was absolutely amazing. Going towards the side of minimalism, and such. I personally think that would sell really well, since the franchise has such a large backing to it, and fame behind it.
The rest, however, I would say are pretty bad.
