I personally never had troubles with the servers. I have seen people get kicked out, but I've never even had a hint of lag when I play.
I'm actually really excited for DotA 2 now that I've gotten into League of Legends. I wasn't really a strategy-based player until I took the leap forward and actually researched about how to do well in LoL, and now I'm having the most fun I have had in gaming recently. It's much more rewarding than any shooter, because you know you're outsmarting the enemy rather than having better reflexes than them. My only concern is that it will split the player base of LoL, someth...
The most balanced CoD game isn't really saying much...
Yeah, this bares much more similarity to Call of Duty's zombies than L4D, although they are still strikingly different.
Exactly. I like the PSV more than the 3DS, but once its games start coming out, combined with its price drop, it's probably going to be a commercial juggernaut. Think about it, $170 is the price of a DSi XL. Also, I really don't see PSV dropping below $200 for quite a while after its release.
I was thinking the exact same thing. Someone needs to remind the guy that they're not playing Fallout 3; time's not going to stop for you to aim and shoot -_-
Durka durka? Really? How old are you, 12?
You're right, he's not a gamer, he's a generic Call of Duty player.
Because L4D is a linear, map-by-map kind of game. Dead Island is all about exploring the world, leveling up and personalizing your character. Yes, there are zombies and it's co-op, but that's like saying BF3 is like CoD:WaW because you fight enemy soldiers with guns along with your friends.
Skyrim, baby!

Perhaps other people had them and they hurt their ears? I actually have it, too. Great headset, but its hinges get loose rather quickly. I like the X360's X11's mic better, too. The metal is easy to bend on them, and the loose hinges on my PX21 make it a nuisance to use the mic.
EDIT: Damn, ReservoirDog316, just ninja'd me. XD

I don't see how Fallout 3's FPV was a sellout at all. It was a very welcome addition to the series and made the gameplay much more fun. Of course, you could say that you hate all new games that aren't text-based because they are sellouts to appeal to casual gamers...
What the hell are you smoking? Oh wait, you're the guy who loves Call of Duty, no wonder your opinion sucks.
The thing about Kinect is that is a potentially great peripheral for the 360, but there just aren't enough uses with the 360 to make it a good buy. I feel the same about PS Move. Remember the tech demo with the Move controlling windows on the screen, allowing the controller to place pictures and bend them? That's just the kind of stuff that would be great with Kinect and Move, but just aren't there. I'm sure the next generation of consoles will easily have enough power to make...
I'm starting to get more and more excited for this game. The amount of characters in this game are staggering.
DICE never became the underdog. Most people here expect BF3 to be a much better game than MW3, including me. Yes, the BF games haven't been able to match the sales of the last four MW games, but the've all been better (excluding 1943).
I believe in the map Rundown, there's a high-traffic building with a fridge at the end of a hallway which literally only lets your head poke out. With the first person view, you can shoot at people with almost perfect cover, even if your gun is covered by the body of the fridge.
Although I agree with caution in CoD, death is usually a bad enemy spawn away, anyway, so it's not usually worth it to be immobile unless you already set up a position.
@BioDemon
I agree, but remember the fridge in MW2? Also, the fact guns kill so quickly and the maps are tiny mean that there's very little you can do against camping in Call of Duty.
Of course, the Italians were bitter because of having to join the Allies in WW1, so they snuck in testosterone into the tomato sauce and laughed as the world went to hell.
