Xbox 360 had such better graphics.

🤣
YouTube has more than 5x the likes than dislikes on the campaign demo that has been viewed more than 4.5 million times.... So even in the shitshow that is YouTube, something oh-so-hated on is still viewed 5x more positively.
A lot of people hate the graphics and rightfully so, but they don't hate the game or what they saw of the gameplay.
Ori's music is fantastic, and the piece with the demo is perfectly fitting.
It's going to be August. This thing's launching November at the latest and they need some good hype.
Our beta was canceled. How is it three months out and they can't even show us a single map, match, heck even a screenshot of the multiplayer mode? This thing was supposed to have a beta! We know covid struck but they are sooner embracing Craig mocking them than they are showing off the one piece of the game that we were told we'd be able to actually play...
I got a CX a few weeks ago, haven't yet tried my PC on it but seeing Ori, Ghost of Tsushima and TLOU2 on the thing... it's a bigger difference going from my old 4K and its v1-HDR classification to this, than it was going from 1080p to 4K. The colors, I can see depth in the darkness!
If those Samsungs and these Sony LEDs come even close to the black levels of an OLED, it's a game changer in itself
"The hidden costs" [that are specifically stated in the price differences between available SKUs, of which one is on Game Pass]
There aren't hidden costs lol. It's a flight sim for one, there hasn't been a Microsoft Flight Simulator game since 2006, and this one is literally mapping the entire planet.
Ori and the Will of the Wisps was such an incredible game; whatever they're working on next - bring it on.
LG OLEDs have all 4 HDMI ports supporting 2.1.
Even Samsung doesn't fully support the 2.1 standard yet but LG's been doing it since last year on their 9-series. With G-Sync included even.
Gears, Halo, and Forza Motorsport were never annualized franchises...
Spider-Man is all I need to pick one up at launch
Aside from the graphics, because we all know it's not the prettiest in how it presented, I've no doubt in 343's commitment.
They didn't abandon the MCC after all of its problems. Years later, it's still actively updated, and all of the games are almost all finally on PC. Both versions benefit the other and that work/experience won't be lost to Infinite, especially the PC side. Halo 5's online support was one of the best of the generation. It stil...
It's even on Tesla!
PS4 Pro... It's 4.2 TF to 12TF - TLOU2 has 22% of the graphical output
The Last of Us Part 2 outputs 22% of the pixels per second that Halo Infinite does and does so with baked, static lighting. Halo's is real-time global illumination. I don't find it unreasonable that TLOU2 has prettier still images; there is significantly less going on in-motion in the world...
@Wesker, how good do you think that UE5 demo would look if it had to render at full 4K with 60fps instead of matching TLOU2's rendering output?
@chrisx
1440p 30fps vs 4k 60fps
More than double the resolution and double the frames per second. That's more than 4x the output compared to the PS4 Pro version of TLOU2... and Halo has time-of-day lighting on top of that.
Apples & oranges
We've only seen campaign. Have you seen in-gameplay shots of Brutes from the previous games? They look way worse than we choose to remember.
The multiplayer absolutely can. Halo 3's been going since 2007 including MCC and now PC - it rarely takes over a minute to find a match now and H3 is the only ranked Team Slayer playlist on console.
This gap is disappointing to us, meanwhile the Switch is selling better and faster than ever outside of holiday time.
Nintendo's doing the least marketing for the best return. Sounds like good business strategy! The Paper Mario rumor turned out to be true so if the other part of that is too - 3D Mario Remasters across the board - then they've got nothing to worry about.
Epic was such a small up-and-coming studio when they released Fortnite huh?
