But maybe it's just a sign of this website more than anything else - checking SteamDB, it's already more than doubled the peak player count of Nioh 2 and exceeds every other Koei Tecmo release to date. They must be happy
I would say that might be due to Team Ninja's own handling of their titles.
They put out 1-2 games per year, average to good, making Nioh 3 just kind of like another "Team Ninja l The Game: 2026 Edition" as opposed to this big grand release to be hyped about.
Hogwarts Legacy is effectively a Game Key Disc and that's amongst the top-selling single player games in over a decade, sooo....

I think that's his [attempt at a horrible] point. There are plenty of games and there's no shame in Sony doing outreach to remind people, 5+ years in, that PS5 is the best place to play any PS game, whether 4 or 5.
