I'm with Fishy on this.
A It's an opinion.
B WTF has Halo 3 got to do with it?
C 9.3 is a great score.
D The story so far is more a 9.5 but some of the cut scenes are bloated.
E I'm 8hrs in and it rocks! Now hurry up and get playing. I'm out! :)
As IGN states:
"Just remember, don't go crazy if your most anticipated title isn't on the list -- after all, E3 is known for its surprises and secrets, not every company is going to let us know everything ahead of time. That means that our list will by no means be complete until the show starts."
Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo will all be pulling rabbits out their respective hats!
It wouldn't be E3 without it... :)
Who stated:
"What the heck happened to Halo Wars and Alan Wake? Microsoft wont have those games at E3??? Ha ha Ha ha!"
You clearly didn't read the article and are just trolling. Halo Wars is officially confirmed on the list. Consider yourself reported.
Further you would have noticed that Sony confirmed the same amount of full retail titles (6), if you ignore the PSN entry SIREN. ;)
You fanboys are pathetic!
No go run a...
Actually this is only the officially confirmed lineup. To illustrate here's Sony's confirmed list:
Killzone 2 (PS3)
LittleBigPlanet (PS3)
MotorStorm: Pacific Rift (PS3)
PixelJunk Eden (PS3)
Resistance 2 (PS3)
SIREN: Blood Curse Episode #1 [PSN] (PS3
SOCOM: Confrontation (PS3)
Now if we were to use your logic for the MS lineup, the above would be it for Sony and I'd throw your ignorant words straight back at you as quoted:
<...
I think Dareaver1 has already notified you of the mistakes in that initial report. Nielsen screwed up and clarified that the PS3 gets the less use in all demographics, including the oldies. See here:

I'd say this goes a long way to explaining the higher occurrence of such behaviour on XBL, which is also a reflection of the much higher population of gamers on XBL compared to P...
I think Adam Sessler just became my hero! lol
I think Sony has a strong lineup, and much stronger than recent years, but other than the "secret game" they're a pretty well known quantity. Home, XMB, Square Enix, Resistance 2, God of War 3 and LittleBigPlanet are likely to dominate proceedings.
On Microsoft's side we know many titles for this year, but they've been uncommonly quiet on a number of fronts. I expect to see Halo Wars, Halo Chronicles, and Alan Wake all make surprise appearances. And Banjo and Too Human ...
Apparently it's real time, including the menus and inventory! I don't know how that'll work in combat but from previews it sounds very much to be real time action orientated. Looks much better than Last Remnant. :)
We did! lol http://www.n4g.com/industry...
Anyways where's Persona 4, Valyrie Profile 3, Kingdom Hearts 3, and as PS360Wii notes Dragon Quest? Are they coming? And to what platforms?
I think it's a clever and calculated marketing risk. Sure they risk isolating some GTAIV gamers but they are also betting on what has been a slowly forming wave of discontent with GTAIV and a yearning amongst many gamers for a more fantastical sand box like San Andreas.
Either way the marketing guys have done their job by getting a lot of people talking about Saints Row 2. The awareness of this game has gone through the roof over the last week and that's particularly important as...
Well it's not Japanese but Too Human looks cool.
Poor GTAIV, it didn't last too long at the top! COD 4 and Halo 3 are back where they belong.
Kudos to Battlefield and Ninja Gaiden though.
Gears of War you're amazing. Eighteen months later and still going strong! ;)
I'd be mighty surprised if Square took FF multi platform, whilst a business possibility I don't beleive it to be a probable outcome.
After the Star Ocean 4 surprise however, Kingdom Hearts on the other hand may be a different story. It's perhaps telling that there's no information being given at Square Enix's party regarding KH3 for any platform.
Sony currently hold, as of the end of last financial year, 8.6% of Square Enix stock, compared to Enix founder and honorary chairman Yasuhiro Fukushima 21.3%, and his private company's additional 8.8%, giving him over 30% of the company. Square founder Masafumi Miyamoto owns approximately 7.1%, whilst the remaining 54%+ majority is controlled largely by American and Japanese financial institutions.
Full ownership details here:
I'm fairly confident of it being a big hit with critics, it's from a much loved developer, innovates all over the place, is resurrecting a somewhat forgotten genre, ha...
I was too damn lazy and just racked up the funds to buy awesome designs off others! lol. Forza 2 is so far ahead of the pack in terms of user generated content for consoles, I can waste hours on the marketplace alone.
I wasted many lunch times at work on that one. It was a deserved winner. :)
Yeah I agree it looks to innovate in a number of areas and is resurrecting one of my old school favourites. It looks like a buy to me. :)
"Until Xbox 360 gets a game as good looking as KZ2, this article is void."
Until PS3 releases KZ2 and it looks as good as some claim, your argument is void. ;)
Mirror's Edge looks sweet. And I can't wait for Spore.
But really I'm looking most forward to Pandemics twosome in Mercs 2 and LoTR Conquest. And we haven't even heard from Bioware yet... KOTOR 3, Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age?
