Yeah there's that boss at the end of New York in the subway that could just resolutely discourage more casual gamers from ever picking it up again! lol
And GRID is awesome! :p
I come in here to look at screenshots and the admin have come in with a "BanHammer" with poor old Bucky left by himself! lol
I can only assume it was the usual fanboy crap and tit for tat, so my hats off to the mods for keeping that stuff out the gamer zone. Maybe they could do it more often with all articles?! ;)
That out of the way...
The game looks fantastic and I can't wait to get my flamethrowing/chainsawing hands on it! :)
Interesting series. I like the fact they're an Xbox site but include the Wii, PS3 and PC in their picks. That 9.9 for MGS4 earned them some serious kudos. Much more detail than most sites E3 predictions to.
Anyway Part One is here if you missed it http://www.n4g.com/gaming/N...
I've been doing this with Tiger Woods for years!!! lol
Yeah I loved it whilst it lasted... Much more than DMC4 in fact. But the level of frustration is something I don't have the time to deal with beyond the Warrior difficulty. One day I'll beat it at the highest difficulty like I did Black, but in the meantime I'm having much easier fun with Civ and GRID. Those games rock! :)
If only they'd have fixed the camera and the graphical oddities and this would of been even better!
Lots of laughs at the "blood bug" in the review though. :)
The lucky Pom was in the Carribean for almost two weeks, so I think he's just submitting the last fortnight's work in one go. At least the title's better than that terribly misleading Sony one!
My understanding is that when one player pauses the other player can continue playing... which is all well and good except for the fact that I can still die whilst I'm in the pause menu.
As quoted from MTV which played the co-op game with the Kotaku author above:
"The pause doesn’t interrupt the action, which is why I was killed while I was upgrading. That keeps the other player from waiting."
You can find it here:
But in regards to NG2. I love the gameplay immensely and believe the combat engine to be unrivalled in the industry. BUT... the camera is awful and whilst I have some control over it, I often don't have time to move it when in such fast and furious combat, and as such it ...
I get where your coming from and whilst I think Too Human will be an enjoyable 8/10 game, it doesn't appear to be the killer IP (aka Eternal Darkness) that some, including myself, have been hoping for. Further it appears that the hype and development time may really hurt it come review time - 10hrs of story for 10years of conception?, etc.
Then again, there's always the sequel "Two Human" :/
@Obama
Sure Konami's making money off 3million. But that's not consumer sales which is the topic of this article and was clearly what you were referring to above. :)
It's like me saying that MS has sold 25million 360's because of shipped numbers to retail, but the reality is of course much different.
This game is more along the divisive lines of Assassins Creed. There's repetitive gameplay and a short story but people will either love it or hate it. I'll even bet it hits a Metacritic of about 80 just like Assassins 81. :)
@Obama
MGS4 has SHIPPED 3 million

If it's a powerglove count me out. As cool as I thought it was as a kid the reality is that it didn't really work, was cumbersome and stunk after an hour of a hand sweating inside it!
Yeah I agree MGS4 was a beautiful conclusion to an outstanding series, but if he is such a genius I want him to prove it with a masterful new IP out of the shadow of MGS.
All good mate. I think I just got geed up, after the similar reactions to RE5's trailer and the complaints of African Americans and Eastern Europeans about their portrayal, and as a result didn't explain myself fully. :)
I find it quite funny, and occasionally ironic, that so many people fail to realise the wholly satirical nature of Rockstar's universe and the deliberate use of stereotypes to complement that.
Actually I did read the article.
My first sentence answers the question similarly to the author and my second sentence is referring largely to Lono's reaction on the podcast to which this article is based and to a lesser extent the author's comments about French Tom.
"As I said, I am completely fine with Bernie; French Tom on the other hand bothers me. Again it’s not so much the character himself, it’s the fact that both of the openly homosexual characters you m...
Despite your disagrees you're on the right track. Strategy games are currently going through an evolution on consoles. Previously they have always been PC ports and hence the controls have been ugly at worst and average at best. But the new breed of console strategy titles are being designed specifically for consoles and their relative strengths and weaknesses.
Civ Revolution and End War are two games I've played that have been optimised for consoles and don't require a M&K ...
That's correct. MS has confirmed this.
I'd just love to see a CE for Banjo and Viva Pinata 2. Give me a Banjo bobble head for the car or better yet some lego blocks to build cars out of. As for VP2 a Pinata full of sugary sweets and a couple of episodes on a bonus disc should please the kiddies to no end! :/
But seriously, if there's one thing from RARE CEs I'd like to see, it's a concept art book. They have the most unique and vibrant sense of art and character design that I'd probably buy such even if it was sold se...
