Personally I think a much fairer comparison for Too Human is Assassins Creed... but let me explain before anyone disagrees. :)

Achievements are part of the base toolkit that all 360 developers get. It's free, is on all games and can be viewed in comparison to friends or others without costing a gamer a single dime (ie. Silver Live).

Yeah I've had this discussion with many N4G users and in particular JRPG fans. The best JRPG platform would have to be the PS2 with the DS close behind. But if we're talking about the current generation nobody is close to the 360 at the moment until Final Fantasy XII comes out for PS3 sometime next year.
You make some good suggestions that are well thought out, although I'm not convinced Halo's multiplayer balance would be the same with 32 players running around. Bubbles for the effort. :)
I agree after realising the depth of the multiplayer with all the gametypes, co-op, all the user generated content and in particular the awesome Forge, the single player admittedly felt tacked on.
Kind of how I feel about Kojima. I'd really love him to leave MGS4 as the perfect closing chapter and move on to a new IP.
But then again I'd still probably buy MGS5, just like I would Halo 4, and all the other sequels like GTAIV, Resident Evil 5, DMC4, SF4, COD4, etc...

They're making a tidy profit now, have a trojan horse for delivering software, media and online content to the lounge room, and are on the record that they believe it'll take 3 generations to solidify a market share.
They're making an Xbox3, the only question is when we'll see it. :)
I hope this one sells better than the first. It really deserves more attention for the completely unique concept, addictive gameplay and the seriously wrong, in a good RARE way, sense of humour.
And whilst the first is closing in on 1.5m it took bundling, price cuts and over a year and a half to get there. Here's hoping VP2 can do a hell of a lot better. :)

Yeah I'd admit I have suspicions on the guys credibility. Not because of his opinions, but rather the lack of reasoning and straight out contradictions with other previews.

This game is going to be an enjoyable one for some and a maddening one for others.
But my biggest fear is that the ten year wait and the hype are going to destroy this titles critical response and or firmly split it into two opposing camps. I'm smelling Assassins Creed all over again!
EDIT: Having now read the article, the guys complaints seem largely superficial and it's simply not his type of game (which is fine). If I want serious criticism in a preview I'll wait ...
