While I agree that story driven action games like the TLOU and Uncharted are at their best in SP mode, so far the addition of MP mode has not detracted from the SP experience and it provides additional value to gamers who enjoy MP mode.
@Josuey - I and plenty of others prefer playing alone - that's why we don't play multiplayer - it's got nothing to do with our skills. I won't buy a game unless it has a decent single player campaign. Fortunately, games like TLOU and Uncharted 2 provide excellent multiplayer and single player content.
@JMyers - Yes, the author doesn't seem to realize that bundles with 3rd party games also move consoles - see the X1 Assassins Creed Unity bundle for example. While I would prefer to see Sony use its first party ips to move consoles, there can be little doubt that the PS4 Batman Arkham bundles, the custom and standard editions, will move a lot of consoles after their release in late June. @buffycrp No, it's not up in the air whether its timed or not. Spencer and others at Xbox recently reaffirmed that it was a timed exclusive. Furthermore, another Xbox excec. recently stated that the X1 would be the only place to play ROTR this 2015 holiday season thus implying that it may appear on other platforms in 2016. It will definitely end up on PC whether or not it ends up on the PS4 remains to be seen.
Digital needs to cost a lot less than physical; the purchase of a digital game needs to be permanent and; the PS4 has to have external hard drive capability for a digital only future on the PS4 or its successors to succeed.

Any price cut by Sony for the PS4 will probably be followed by another price cut for the X1. So for strategic reasons, it seems logical that Sony would hold out on dropping the price for as long as possible because they're not in a position financially to engage in a price war with MS. I expect Xbox to be very competitive in the UK and USA this holiday season but it's too early to be predicting a holiday sales win over the PS4. For example, Sony may reveal some games at E3 for release during the holidays. Tomb Raider may get delayed (I checked and it does not have a firm release date.) Sony may lower the PS4's price. Prediction - If and when Sony decides to cut the price of the PS4, MS will soon follow with another price cut for the X1. A $50.00 or a $100.00 price cut for the PS4 will result in at least another $50.00 price cut for the X1. If MS goes to $300.00 first, Sony will almost certainly follow with at least a $50.00 price cut. The reviews I read mentioned that the game has bugs and performance issues but still gave the game a high score.
That said, I think a lot of gamers don't take the time to read the review, they just look at the score.
So far I've encountered some minor bugs. Including one where Vessimir is riding an invisible horse (pretty funny.) My biggest gripe is the size of the text - I hope the developer patches a fix for that soon

It seems that the reviewer doesn't know the difference between gratuitous sex, misogyny and violence and contextual sex, misogyny and violence. If the violence, sex etc in a game is believable because of the world it exists in, then it is not a misogynistic game.
