MLB is a sports franchise. Player rosters on teams change each year so it's understandable that games like MLB, Madden, Fifa, NHL and NBA get new iterations every year.
PSN needs to be more stable but so does Xbox Live. Live has the more stable service but it is far from perfect. Apparently, CNN isn't aware that services other than PSN also have their fair share of irritating problems - crap article for not pointing this out.
@multiconsolegamer. NPD is up for grabs this month. The PS4 has been leading the best seller lists at Walmart, Best Buy, Gamestop and especially Amazon for a good portion of the month despite MS's reinstatement of the X1 price cut. The TLOUR bundle is selling quite well. A X1 win of the Jan. NPD is far from a forgone conclusion - it could go, imo, either way.
@shadyiswin Last time I checked, N. America is not the only market on this planet. The PS4 already had life time sales at 18.5 mil at the the beginning of January. The X1 became competitive over the holidays in the USA with the $349 Assassins Creed bundle and out sold the PS4 quite handily in Nov and Dec. However, the PS4 TLOUR bundle seems to be doing very well this month and I wouldn't be surprised to see the PS4 take the Jan. NPD.
That said, it's apparent that at this mo...
As others have pointed out, Spencer, has in the past, downplayed the benefits DX12 would have for the X1. This new twitter response of his seems to imply that there is in fact some kind of "secret sauce" built into the X1 to take full advantage of DX12. So which Spencer are we to believe: the Spencer who plays it straight or; the Spencer who is obviously trying to appease the fan boys and gain support for the X1 by making vague statements on twitter. Imo, based on his contradictor...
Dude - a lot of people don't respect your opinion because it's poorly written. Don't post poorly written articles - it's embarrassing.
Yes, please stop the trolling. Btw, did you all realize that it is a well known fact that trolls, like the author of this article, can't write. The author of this article is not a journalist.
For those of you who didn't read it, this article is not specifically about supporting the 360 with new gaming experiences rather it seems to be about hiring tech support to keep the 360's ecosystem/apps/multimedia functions relevant and up to date. Nothing wrong with that but I doubt we're going to see much support for new games on the 360 or the PS3 after 2015.
I agree but the hardcore fans of the 'Souls' franchise apparently believe the game play will be compromised if the difficulty is lessened. This is why I believe allowing the player to choose what difficultly setting to play on is the best option. The hardcore can choose to play on the maximum difficulty setting if they want what they believe to be the true 'Souls' experience. Difficulty settings also provide replay value and an opportunity to earn more trophies/achievements....
I hope this game gives the player the option of choosing the difficulty they want to play - I'm not a masochist, my patience is limited and I have other games to play. I played Demon Souls and gave up after about 25 hrs of game play because of the difficulty level. I didn't bother with the Dark Souls games because of this experience. However, I loved the game play and the world building evident in Demon Souls. If From wants to sell more games of the Dark Souls/Demon Souls ilk, the...
Is $50/yr for PS+ or $60/yr for XBL a lot of money? No, it's not. Plus both services offer games every month that you don't have to pay extra for. I could understand the complaints if MS and Sony were charging you up the wazoo for their online services but they're not. If you don't want to pay for online services, you have options (PC and Wii U for example) so, stop the whining please.
The only thing that bugged me, and this is just a very minor gripe, was the fake cartoon like pools of blood that surrounded the heads of almost every person you killed. I'm sure there are other problems/flaws but this just happens to be the one that I noticed the most. That said, I loved this game, have played it multiple times and will play it again.
This article is click bait crap - all the author does is list some games with no criticisms, conclusions or opinions given.
Well, MS stated the price cut was for a limited time. Had they chosen not to remove the discount they would have undoubtedly received bad press for making false statements. The price cut obviously had it's desired effect here in the US because the X1 moved a lot of units and outsold the PS4 here for Nov and Dec. I imagine that MS will continue to have special promotions for the X1 at strategic times throughout 2015 to keep it competitive in it's most lucrative markets - the USA and ...
"that no buddy can forget," wtf? Lol
Blast Corps, Diddy Kong Racing and Jet Force Gemini were my favorite Rare games of the N64 era. Blast Corps' bots and vehicles weren't exactly great characters but they provided hours of great game play.
Really? Terrible article. The author's opinion is overshadowed by his or her inability to write proper English.
Yeah - I can't take the article seriously because it is badly written.
If you take the time to write such a piece, you should know how to freaking write. The author should be ashamed of his or herself for publishing such ill written crap. They're entitled to their opinion but they should learn how to express it within the rules of
grammar.
Please note, I don't care about grammar when it comes to the comment section. I only care when it comes to articles/blogs.
I found this article to be humorous and well written. Next time I watch Lawrence of Arabia I'll be sure to keep an eye out for those extra special camels at the edge of the screen - Lol.
