Fusion would make sense. Next Gen Kinect built into the system or something along those lines.
Well then keep in mind, the Vitas innards are on par with many of the most powerful smartphones out there, so expecting Sony to offer the same kind of "value" as a low end bargain smartphone isn't fair.
Don't forget, the price of a smartphone straight up is outrageous compared to a Vita. Ya, I may have gotten 32 GB of memory for my Bionic, but if I didn't have my soul owned by Verizon, it would've cost me about 799.99 to buy the phone without a contract.
Can't wait for the stories like this to pop up:
"Vita's Dual Analog Sticks: Mistake?"
"Vita's Graphics: Shouldn't handheld games look inferior to consoles? Why Vita games look too good and why you shouldn't buy them"
"Win a Free Vita in Sony Contest: Is Sony desperate to get rid of unsold Vitas?"
At the very least they should've included a memory card like the 256MB one that MS did with the arcade units, I agree. However, for this guy to be saying that proprietary storage is "already holding it back" is a bit unfair. Sony has made it as unappetizing as possible for everyone outside of Japan to import a Vita pricewise, so this guy's shipping issues from the far East is a bit of the usual CNET anti-Sony bias since most of us aren't going this route.
Still not great, but better than the media fear mongering was making it seem. The only question now is, will all the newssites and blogs that were passing judgment on the rumored prices and going insane over them, post follow up articles promoting the correct price? I'm not holding my breath
Hopefully this can all be ironed out before the US launch. Its a damn shame that product launches always seem to be mired with issues (looks at my Droid Bionic).
Stone Cold says...
It probably comes down to supply. Sony got killed in the media for having a small amount of PS3's available for the US launch. Worldwide launches are tough to pull off.
Yawn...
What if---
Sony gives one million bucks to each day one PS4 buyer...
Anti-Sony'ers: "Only a million bucks? Sony is a multi-billion dollar corporation! And we only get a million bucks each? Are you serious? Sony is so out of touch! This is an outrage!"
I don't see what the big deal is. I honestly can't remember, and maybe there were some deals and credits offered, but were there any sort of programs where studios gave free DVDs out to customers if they already owned the VHS? I can't remember for sure, I'm sure there had to be some deals, but I doubt Warner Bros gave out free DVDs of a movie you owned the VHS. Bottom line, this is an option, not something you're being forced to do.
No
I'm no game developer myself, but judging from the time frame for developing games, I doubt lining up a long list of PS3 exclusives was a reactionary measure by Sony to combat MS exclusive games. Kind of seems far fetched. Not to mention the fact that KZ2 and Motorstorm were introduced as in concept videos back in 05...(zomg the infamous Killzone trailer!).
I have to believe games like Uncharted, inFamous and Resistance (which wasn't specifically mentioned, but the au...
I agree, but at this point you have to think about how many people would lose jobs if Madden wasn't a regular year thing. Less "manpower", less jobs. No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to buy the game.
Jeez, "360 FANBOYS" are in overdrive with these articles criticizing ps3 fanboys these days aren't they?
Anyway, so wow, a developer is showing off a game on the PS3 instead of the 360, what a terrible thing. Most games are always shown off on the 360 first.
And the guy makes it sound like EA purposely wanted to ship the game on multiple discs just so that those damn immature ps3 fanboys can troll the sweet innocent 360 fanboys, completely IG...

Yes, its always "PS3 Fanboys" attacking innocent 360 supporters.
So, the point of this article is that since there are less exclusive games to buy on the 360, the few games that do come out will have more sales since 360 owners have less choices.
I suppose that's an excellent business model for the corporation (less money invested for bigger returns, although MS' advertising is world class and they spend hundreds of millions at times), but as a gamer who wants some variety in his life, what a piss poor way to go about things. ...
is a demo free if you're paying for the right to play it?
Uh, isn't it "Serah"?
