I hope this App is super popular!
And that someone figures out a way to get it to everyone for free!
@VG, I agree, I am a Democrat who actually hates people of color (as a minority myself), and I am haboring hate and covering up my hatred of minorities by acting like a Democrat. I am sorry that I am not a conservative thinker and running around generalizing other people, which is something that conservatives would never do.
I agree. Even if, lets say a multi-console owner might have preferred it on their PS3 for some reason, they were going to get it on the 360 because of the Gears beta.
"It seems Epic Games' foul mouthed and "lairy" shooter has just surpassed the 1 million sales mark no thanks to PS3 owners though."
Well considering 200 thousand sales still came on the PS3, I'd say there is some thanks to be had, because otherwise the game would not have just surpassed the million sales mark now would it?
Someone's feeling a little hostile today haha
You did a hell of a job Anony
I want this to be good, I haven't bought a WWE game in years, but whenever I read anything THQ has to say, I get the same feeling I do whenever EA starts to talk about the new Madden. "It's going to be better than ever!" ends up being the same old shit.
Ugh, so we really are going to be playing as this Noel dude and Serah all game instead of as Lightning. Lame. Unless this at least ends up being a 50/50 split where the game jumps between the Serah/Noel storyline and playing as Light where ever she is, this may only be a bargain bin purchase for me.
Like ndl1531 is saying, albeit in a nearly incoherent matter, a big reason for the PS3's initial price tag was the cost of having the Blu-Ray tech in there. That's not going to be a financial hurdle this time around, unless Sony somehow pulls some other new format out of its ass.
Oh, this is the sales split, i thought this was about the range of review scores this game has gotten. ;)

When Take-Two Interactive laid out their 2007 and 2008 release schedule, they casually left out PlayStation 3 in the column detailing the episodic content for Grand Theft Auto IV. There's a reason for that: Microsoft is paying $50 million for exclusivity. Take-Two revealed the financial details during a Q&A session regarding their shareholders confer...
Yeah, gee, I don't know why we are upset, after all, you guys only obtained our personal info. All these hackers can go screw themselves.
I dunno about the Agent part, but I'm pretty sure it was made known that MS paid about 50 million to get Rockstar to go multi and provide the timed exclusive DLC for 360.
Wow are we really judging what this thing looks like based off an interactive web demo? #newlows
Would be interesting to see what Kojima could do with the Wii U's controller. Would be painful if he did make a MGS game for the Wii U because then I would need to open my wallet and buy a Wii U.
Nope, even if the game only sells 20,000 copies on the 360 it is probably a success considering how easy it is to develop a game for it. If going multi-plat was a money waster, there's no way Square Enix would have continued to go down that path, since you know, they love money.

I think the difference is that there have been new IPs created on Sony platforms in recent years.
If Sony was relying on R&C to be one of the sole reasons to buy a Playstation console in the year 2011, then you'd see some of the same outrage.
Remember, outside of Gears, most of MS' big franchises that are still seeing sequels were created last generation (Halo, Forza), whereas Sony created or helped create, new IPs ...
Just mindboggling what some gamers let Activision get away with. By 2015, Kotick will have CoD players paying a penny a piece for each virtual bullet fired, and CoD'ers will eat it up.
I'm just wondering how much its going to cost...it certainly seems like it will open some incredible new doors for developers. I just question if this will appeal to the casuals the same way the Wii-Mote did. The Wii-Mote was nice and simple, this might look a little more intimidating to some casual gamers. Plus, a big part of the appeal of the Wii was that anyone could play it. If this thing costs a fairly nice chunk of change, can you see any parent or older sibling letting a young ...
I don't see what the big deal is, if you don't like the remakes, don't buy em. Clearly people are buying them, otherwise they wouldn't be bothering with it, so Sony and the other developers that are doing this are just giving customers what they want. Besides, like other people have pointed out, how many remakes of old Mario and Zelda games have there been at this point? No one is complaining about Ocarina being re-released on the 3DS.
