Gears of War was my favorite Xbox exclusive last generation but from the first gameplay reveal to the more current I have had a bad "343" feeling from what the Coalition is doing. It doens't look awful by any means but the gameplay looks as average as Judgment was. I completely agree the graphics looks solid but the game itself doesn't. Looks promising, reminds me a bit of another favorite from the 90s of mine Gex: Enter the Gecko.
If the trilogy includes all of the DLC I am all in... this is the one series more than anything else I have wanted to see remastered. In particular ME1 - I know the mechanics were not as polished as the other games but the story and feeling of an epic space adventure made it my favorite game of last generation. I haven't played it for a few years now but would drop everything if it was remastered.
I'm not a huge God of War fan, I keep trying to get into the series but haven't been able to make it more than half-way through any of the titles. However, this new entry in the series looks much more my style and from what I've seen so far it looks like a day one purchase.
I'm really curious to see what Sucker Punch is up to. I didn't like Second Son at all but loved First Light, mostly because Fetch was a far more interesting character with more fully realized powers. I hope they are doing something brand new though, I think they need a long break from Infamous.
It's an underwhelming series to begin with. Not trolling, I really gave the first title a fair shake since I wasn't finding anything else exclusive on Xbox One. It feels like COD with mechs and now Titanfall 2 from what I played of the test feels like an even more dumbed down COD with mechs.

When I read things like... "So you can't fly a ship, gather resources, explore, craft etc?" or "Also puzzles, survival, combat..." it makes me laugh because there is only one gameplay mechanic behind all of it...
Yes, you can fly a ship by constantly grinding resources to repair/refuel launch thrusters/pulse engines.

I am still of the mindset that if your economic situation is so bad that $100 makes a world of difference when buying something like a gaming console then you probably shouldn't be buying a gaming console to begin with.
Maybe most console owners on N4G don't have money but to be honest even if Xbox Gold/Playstation+ were $9.99 a month it would still be well worth the deal for what you get. I think gamers are a bit self-entitled or need to get a better job.
I don't think it's being a hater to point out this is Remedy's worst game, it was the entire reason I picked up the Xbox One S 2Tb a few weeks ago. It isn't even a decent Remedy game.

Your post is very disingenuous though and sounds much like the marketing for No Man's Sky since day one. My first planet had 12 different "species" of fauna, lush grassy fields as far as the eye could see with oceans, countless outposts, shelters, caves (got lost in first one for over an hour) and learned over 40 words from monoliths alone and saw many of the aliens you speak of with their short form poems.
