I am going to second the motion for Fallout 3 and after the huge letdown that Fallout 4 was I went back recently to Fallout 3 and loved every second of it.

I loved the Shenmue series but I think this third installment is going to be a huge letdown.... it has Last Guardian written all over it. Will take forever to come out and once it does it will look like very dated.

I'm looking forward to PSVR but not this holiday season as I just don't see anything really great... yet. I think Sony/Hello Games made a gigantic mistake not focusing on No Man's Sky being a PSVR launch title. After finding the game to be nothing more than a tedious grind I think at the very least having the ability to walk around in the beautiful art style would have been a lot of fun and offset some of the lack of actual gameplay.

Having flashbacks to Wreckless on the original Xbox... loved that game!

In my experience with the game (maxing out all inventory slots and finishing the Atlas path) all 10 of those things to "love" are completely ruined be a tedious grind. I would love to love this game but I just can't, it's a awful gameplay experience.

Conker was hands down my favorite 3D platformer after Super Mario 64.

Twist: Dude-bro robots.

I think a 7 out of 10 is more than fair on this game... I know it's been getting a lot of praise from the usual suspects but even getting past the lackluster story the game itself feels like a last generation title... mechanics, hacking, dialogue interactions all feel a bit unpolished. If anything I feel like I'm playing a remaster of Human Revolution rather then a true sequel.

I think Remedy made a huge mistake aligning with Microsoft to begin with. Alan Wake would have had a much bigger audience on PS3 as it was a brilliant game but not dude-bro enough for the Xbox crowd at large. On the other hand Quantum Break was a failure because it was a terribly average game to begin with.

Well.. in the case of Quantum Break I would agree that a disappointing game doesn't need a disappointing sequel.

Marketing 101? You are missing one rather large point... Sony isn't looking to compete with Scorpio to begin with.

For the next year Sony will have the PS4 Slim and Neo going up against the Xbox One S. It's that simple. Scorpio will release holidays 2017 and even with the better specs it will have little impact as 6 months later Sony announces PS5 at E3 2018 for a 2019 release. Microsoft is very short sighted and Sony knows this which is why they talked about Neo...

It's releasing this year.

After putting 60+ hours in, maxing out all inventory slots and upgrades while finishing the Atlas Path I can safely admit that this game only has one game mechanic... grinding. Without the grind there is nothing left to do.

It still blows me away how the comments on every Neo/Scorpio related article are so oblivious to what Sony is doing. Sony has no intention of Neo going up against Scorpio... it's only going up against the Xbox One S. People are spending far too much time comparing specs when Sony could care less - Scorpio isn't there competition.

Neo will have been out for just over a year before Scorpio even launches. Scorpio hits holidays 2017 and then 6 months later Sony annou...

But the game started out a lie... THIS never existed... https://youtu.be/nLtmEjqzg7...

They were deliberately coy and misleading throughout the entire development process starting from the very first trailer to launch... The game they showed never existed... https://youtu.be/nLtmEjqzg7...

It is a hard pass on my end if it is yet another tablet screen with a controller attached to the sides, entire reason I hated the Wii U (and why it didn't sell) is the same gimmick they are doubling down on... only this time without a separate "console".

I guess I "automatically assumed" that from the very day the game was announced that this was the game we were getting... https://youtu.be/nLtmEjqzg7...

Actually, 18 quintillion but the argument still doesn't hold up for those using how "big" the game is to justify it as a good game... after about a dozen planets you've seen it all. Sure... you could see different variations for an eternity but it all feels the same but in different colors.

I put 60+ hours into NMS, maxed out absolutely every inventory slot and finished the Atlas quest line... I can't agree more with saying "Gee can't imagine why". The reason players actually playing are going down so big a couple weeks in is because a lot of us were in denial at first that the game was really that bad. Reminds me of when I waited 20 hours in line to see the Phantom Menace. Probably took me about 2 weeks to admit... yeah... it was terrible.
