I've put in 30+ hours and haven't had one crash in that time.
Clearly a lot of dude-bro gamers getting upset over the most influential game in a gaming generation being artistic and intelligent.
Agreed I've seen a few reviews saying it crashes every hour or less and yet after 30+ hours in I haven't had one crash at all.
I've put in over 30 hours into this game this week, after visiting a wide variety of planets already I can safely say I haven't been bored once time. Sounds like you want your hand held ala Mass Effect Blue/Green/Red ending.
I've never watched more than a few minutes of any game online just to see if it looks like something I might enjoy, beyond that I truly have no idea why people watch full games to begin with.
Ridiculous... I've put in over 30 hours and haven't even scratched the surface yet. To say it's a mile wide and an inch deep is rather disingenuous.
Agreed, Transistor still has my vote for the best looking game period this generation.
I've already put 30+ hours into No Man's Sky so an 8 hour campaign is nothing short of laughable. Like others have stated, the campaign will still be throw-away while the focus is on multiplayer.
It would be great to have inventory seperated for each section (exosuit, multitool, ship) between resources and upgrades. Having them mixed together taking up space is about my only gripe with the game so far, everything else is fantastic.
I don't believe you've actually even played the game but with that said I've put in 26+ hours now and have loved every second of it. In fact even though I paid $80 for the limited edition I would have gladly paid twice that knowing how game changing this game actually is. Suddenly Fallout, Assassins Creed, GTA series seem incredibly small and pedestrian by comparison.
Nintendo has made it impossible to support what they do for a few generations now and if leaks/rumors are true I think this will be their last console all together. I might be in the minority but I would be OK with a Nintendo console as powerful as the PS4 running Mario/Zelda/Metroid and of course Mario Kart but for the Wii and Wii U we continue to get gimped versions of those franchises to accommodate goofy peripherals. The reason the PS4/Xbox style controllers work in all their variations...
So you really didn't give the game a chance then... I'm a few days into it and have a ship with 31 slots and exosuit inventory with 26 slots, each with room to grown. I have upgraded my running and jumping so much for example that I can get around any environment super quick. But again, seems that most reviewers not liking this game are upset the game doesn't hold their hand.
I paid $80 for the limited edition and now after putting 25 hours into the title I would have gladly paid double that amount, hands down the best game I have played this generation... absolutely mind blowing... haven't had this much fun with a new game experience since Super Mario 64.
While this game is hands down my favorite game of this generation and probably in my top 10 of all time I can respect this review for being honest in their experience with the game rather than just using the opportunity to hate on the game like The Jimquisition who has been practically drooling at the mouth for month in anticipation of slamming this title.

I find most of the "respected" reviewers tend to be rather far off on games I'd actually enjoy. If I listened to IGN and Gamespot I would have passed on Alien: Isolation which is in my top 5 for this generation. If I continued to listen to the average to below average ratings of websites on No Man's Sky I'd be missing out on what is hands down my favorite game this generation and probably the most exciting new gameplay experience I've had since Super Mario 64. Thi...
I actually play while using a treadmill, perfect game for it. Burned 900 calories yesterday alone;)
Every single below average or average review I've read of this game reads like a game I haven't been playing. First off, to say some might find the game too short is ridiculous. I've already put in over a full 24 hours and have yet to scratch the surface. I feel like most reviewers just don't have the patience for a game that doesn't hold their hand like absolutely anything open world from Ubisoft for example. Easily my game of the generation so far and no doubt I'l...
I haven't put 25 hours and counting into this game because it is average. In fact it is the best new gaming experience I've had since Super Mario 64, mind blowing. Don't worry though, I'm sure Halo 6, Gear 4, Forza 7 will keep you busy.
I've put in 30+ hours so far and this is hands down the best game I've play this generation and probably the best new gaming experinece I've had since Super Mario 64 so maybe you are the one who should let it go already.
