"From what i've seen and read she isn't casting any aspersions on the people involved."
Here's something that's a problem: a game cannot be "sexist." I know that's hard to believe, but it can't. It's an inanimate object. It has literally no way of preferring one gender over another because it is not sentient. Sexism, a la -ism, implies a set of beliefs and philosophies. Inanimate objects cannot believe anything.

Even though most of these things people hated, I think it's because RE4 did them so much better than its contemporaries that it was received so well.
Yeah, I wouldn't be comfortable with another studio making The Last of Us 2 either. It just has that magic Naughty Dog spark, I guess. I can't imagine that a sequel developed by another company would hold the same quality as if Naughty Dog made it themselves.
"when a game like Hatred gets on the platform, that also entails bringing with it a host of users who are detrimental to everyone else on the service."
As if Steam had absolutely no questionable individuals on it prior to this game. They're only detrimental to people like him that obsess over what goes on in Steam forums, like some conspiracy theorist.
This "slippery slope" mentality was used by various other censorship boomers like Ja...
I think it has everything that's required to survive in today's gaming climate.
Yeah, there needs to be some assurance. Otherwise the marketing and promotional schedules are wrecked.
Wow...that's...that's what would get me on the VR boat.
Exactly. Respect others. Two people can disagree on practically every issue on the planet, but can still be considerate to each other.
"be a lot more respectful to our fellow gamers."
What a concept, right?
This article is garbage, so let's run down the fallacies that it pushes, shall we?
"Any girl can attest..."
Okay, I'm gonna stop this guy right here. Why in the world would you say this? Do you really think that a woman by default is harassed online? Have you ever met female gamers, because if anything they're very competent gamers and shouldn't be treated like idiots. This "all girls are harassed" deal kind of falls at the...
With such a push for digital and Gamestop continuing to underwhelm with their retail behavior? I wouldn't be surprised if suffered the same fate as movies and music stores before it.
The devs behind Murasaki Baby on Vita. The guy who made this studio also directed Shadows of the Damned.
I think that if EA can recover from being the worst company in America, that Ubisoft isn't doomed, if they own up to their mistakes and fix them of course.
Hardware-wise, I really don't have any problems with the Vita. It's fantastically built with a ton of awesome control setups. Great networking features and a clean interface. Good apps too. I just wish Sony wouldn't treat like such an afterthought and offer more first-party titles.
Oh, and those memory cards need a discount. Seriously, Sony, I love those free PS+ Vita games, but I'd like to be able to actually download them.
Worthy of note that many of the games that address those issues are games Troy has VA'd in. He's helped get these topics across in important ways. He's a valuable voice for gaming (literally). :)
If a game has to tell you how you should be reacting to a moment of gameplay, it has failed in delivering a message properly.
It's like that old saying "a joke you need to explain is a failed joke." Or something similar to that.
Good article, overall. It's a shame that many games these days treat us all like idiots.
Watch them make THAT a trilogy. Damn.
Because game companies made a big deal about it, so we kinda expected them to deliver.
Thanks, Christopher Ferguson, for confirming something almost all gamers knew already.
Why are they covering this now? It was confirmed ages ago that he was fired for his review of Kane and Lynch.
