Also, they'll be fine.
What about AVGN Adventures? You kill Santa and use his corpse as a sled!
I doubt Naughty Dog would do that. They're not a company that seems to follow the "more is better" approach. They're more a "better is better" developer.
I like the Gamepad, but I would have no problem with something more traditional. I think having all the controller options on Wii U is great: Pro, Gamepad, Wii Remote, Wii Remote with Nunchuk, Wii Remote with Classic Controller, Gamecube controller for Smash...I think options are the way to go.
Youtube is already jeopardizing a lot of users with its current model, especially content creators that require a large amount of time to produce a small amount of content, like animators.
Right now, Youtube is built for Let's Players (people who create a lot of long-form content in short periods of time), and while I definitely support that field, saying that Youtube's algorithm is fulfilling the ideology of the site is ludicrous.
Youtube is currentl...
The fundamental ideology behind content creation means that fans want videos to be seen, and content creators want that too. It's not happening. Both viewers and content creators are suffering from a system that isn't serving either of them. That's broken to me.
MatPat said it himself.

I'm surprised too. Didn't think they'd release that Black Mesa on Steam Greenlight. Ah well. Glad they did. It's a fun game! Recommended!
Anyone remember Draw Something?
"Broken Youtube Algorithm Hides Videos From Subscribers"
You could've just said that. Please don't use clickbait titles. That's not classy. Don't be Buzzfeed.
"So, game developers and the media should be the first on the line to defend Hatred, Papers, Please, and whatever else controversial games will be made to exist as their creators intended, and for people to have access to them if they wish, and to be criticized or praised as they deserve."
Yes. YES. Picking and choosing, while constantly moving the goalposts is disrespectful to the critique medium. Everything should be up for critique, but you can't critique any...
Dude, the reason that the Joker is such an interesting character is because we DON'T know what he's thinking or why he does what he does. He just does it. We don't know his past. He's just insane...and that's perfect for a guy associated with carnage and madness. A tragic backstory would make you want to sympathize with the character and make them more human. I don't want that in Hatred. Why would you? Why would you want to give motivation to a character like this guy&...
It's a chronic case of a select group of people forgetting that if you don't like a game, you don't have to buy it.
Yeah, we really have nothing to go on aside from the trailers, which makes all the judgment calls being tossed around pretty weak. Can't say I'm at all interested in this game, but I think everyone should be realistic about things before saying it's the "worst game ever."
"because right now, they post their bigoted comments, and they get praised, that's just reinforcing their bigotries."
They post their bigoted comments because they know that people like Jim will rant on and on about them. That's why the trolls say bigoted stuff like this: because they know that people will react the way Jim did. Don't give them the satisfaction of acknowledgement. Ignore them. They're not worth anyone's time. Drown them out. Stop...
It sounds like these games are focusing on building on a certain psychological level instead of a widespread one. Psychopathy doesn't operate the same way as, say, kleptomania, so it's to be expected that games aren't the panacea for all criminal activity.
That being said, this is an interesting approach, especially since the results are turning out generally well. Specializing treatment with specific games is also a good idea, as shown in the results the story de...
If you don't like it, don't buy it.
I love how the people who work for these companies also think Pachter's an uninformed dingbat.
Listen, I am in no way supportive of Hatred, but what you said has happened before: media claiming a violent video game is the cause of some tragedy. FoxNews and MSNBC revel in these kinds of games; it gives them a scapegoat. Saying that this game will "damage the industry" shows that you weren't around when GTA III, GTA San Andreas, Call of Duty, and Dark Souls were all used to blame for violent events.
And guess what? Industry's still here. Industry's ...
This is just a stupid game of keepaway. Activision knows that Sony will make bank if they get the license back and make a new Crash game. Just give it back to Sony, Activision. You have Call of Duty. You'll be fine.
Probably just DLC, but either way, I'm on board.
