The Wii name isn't nearly as much of a problem as the New 3DS name, but I still agree. Mii can stay, I guess.
And starting gaming. :)
To all who missed it up till now, you're in for a treat. :)
Hardware-wise I can see their point, but its game library is absolutely nothing compared to the 3DS.
Exactly. This shouldn't be a spectacle. If folks want the representation to be more normalized, it should be treated as such: naturally and not forced.
Trust me: if there was a transgender character in a game, it would change my opinion of the game exactly 0%. I judge my games as games. If a game plays badly, the gender representation means nothing. That's the definition of equal acceptance: put everything on level footing.
There is a very rough tug-o-war between addressing issues this way.
On one hand, yes, I think transgender representation is rather low in games. The most notable examples are Birdo and Poison, neither of which were even considered trans until someone came out and just said it. Then the internet just went crazy with it. Also, GamesRadar UK's comments were really stupid.
On the other hand, representation for the sake of representation is no way to show acce...
It would probably be easier to figure out if we just got a damn sequel already instead of ten spin-offs.
Didn't he say that last time?
Chris Cunningham should direct more commercials.
If that's the case, we should re-review every game currently on the market, judging them by their current incarnations. Also, every new patch means that a game would need to be reviewed again.
Yes. Them and Capcom.
It's gonna rock, no question. :)
Duck season...
Absolutely. Re-reviewing it would mean nothing.
No, they shouldn't, and for multiple reasons.
Firstly, Ubisoft lifted the review embargo till after the game was out. That means that this wasn't a case of outlets reviewing the game under unrealistically accommodating conditions like what happens with a lot of online-focused games like SimCity or Titanfall. They reviewed the exact product that consumers got. Hell, livestreams of retail copies of the game bought by regular folks were airing BEFORE the reviews were eve...
Actually, I think developers care a lot about gamers. It's the publishers in suits who are completely distant from game-making itself that don't care about the people. If developers didn't care about gamers, why are all these B and indie studios inquiring about potential upgrades and then delivering upon their promises?
Look at Goat Simulator. Coffee Stain Studios LISTENED to consumers. They love gamers because GAMERS BOUGHT THEIR GAME. Who else would? Surely not ...
Rockstar don't owe her anything. If anything, Lohan owes Rockstar their time back from dealing with this stupid lawsuit.
There was a lot of disappointment this year, but those that didn't disappoint were absolute gold. Smash, Bayonetta 2, Infamous Second Son, Sunset Overdrive, lots to love. Don't let bad third-party publishers sour your year. :)
Link should stay silent because, let's face it: he's not really a character. He's a role. Compared to all other characters in the Zelda series, Link generally has a pretty slim amount of personality, sticking to simple expressions. Link is there as an avatar for the player and giving him a voice has the potential to alienate a player's relatability to Link's role.
Keep him silent.
I hate when they do this. They hike up the prices of games like Xenoblade Chronicles and Metroid Prime Trilogy too. Sleazy.
