Yes. It should've died a while ago, in fact.
Lame pre-order bonuses, store-specific pre-order bonuses that end up being widely marketed six months later, the risk of playing a buggy mess at launch that needs seven patches to function, crowded broken online servers at launch, and the store-specific deals and sales pitches when you actually pick up the game?
Hell yeah. Get this crap out.
Yeah, it's the fan-work announcement they made in 2014. "Derivative works" or something along those lines.
Yes, but I don't accept broken games, nor do many other people. Should we be punished for that?
Fair enough, though I still don't see how the public deserves broken games.
Who's "we"? You mean the people who cave and buy broken games at launch, or the people who are smart enough to wait yet still receive a broken game because the first group bought it?
The end of the matter is that NO ONE deserves a broken game. Ubisoft, or any other developer, has no obligation to do that, regardless of whether people buy it. No game should be as dysfunctional as AC: Unity was at launch.
I'm not taking responsibility for othe...
Ya buy it for good exclusives. It's the same situation as the Gamecube, which was also a great console with incredible exclusives and barely any third-party support.
Install base is what determines what console gets what. Install base and who has the money to splurge on timed exclusives.
^ Perfect response right here. Thumbs-up.
I'd give it Best Horror Game of 2014, no question. That game is true horror. It sold me on Silent Hills, which is now one of my most anticipated games of 2015.
And neither can compare to the power of gameplay.
Chris Seavor from Conker (and the voice of the character) is actually working on an indie game for the Nintendo eShop.
Just so you know, this isn't a Rare game. It is a group of ex-Rare employees making a game that is in no way connected to Banjo-Kazooie, but similar in design and gameplay. It's just a spiritual successor and has nothing to do with current-era Rareware or Microsoft. Totally independent.
That being said, it could appear on any console the devs feel.
Why do people think that something is stopping the game industry from introducing more female protagonists? If The Last of Us taught us anything, it's that the gender of a protagonist means nothing as long as the character is developed well and the game is good. Ellie was IN FRONT of Joel, and the game sold like bank. On TWO DIFFERENT CONSOLES.
Gaming has always been inclusive. That's a fact. It has been since Day 1. There is NOTHING keeping women out of gaming. Anyon...
Well, I got it on 360 still, but...I wish delisting wasn't a thing. :(
Games like Shovel Knight, Wolfenstein: The New Order, and Dragon Age: Inquisition completely surpassed most expectations and became some of the best games of the year. Then you got Bayonetta 2, Infamous: Second Son and Smash Wii U delivering on their promises and then some.
Don't let EA, Activision and Ubisoft's blunders ruin things for you. The game industry doesn't live by what they do.
I swear, that track is by far the most remixed Sonic level theme.
Oh yeah, give a "kid" the first Legend of Zelda and see how long they last.
What took you so long?
I think Zelda/Sheik should have her own game. When I think of Sheik's abilities, they remind me of Castlevania, like the chain is similar to Simon's whip. I think this could work in a 2D side-scroller kind of game.
You gotta love how retro gamers are giving these classic consoles such attention!
Those who haven't played this yet are going to be in love. One of the best of 2014. Curious to see what else could appear on the PSN version.
