Local multiplayer is awesome and I wish more companies would put it in their games.
This. I've had some really good experiences with DLC (like the Point Lookout DLC for Fallout 3 and pretty much the entire Rock Band series), but nowadays, the idea is being misused as a way to squeeze money out of big release.
It depends on how it's executed, yes.
Seen a lot of preview footage of this game and it all looks crazy fun. Very excited for this.
Careful there, Tails. You might get trolled.
The press conferences are what people remember the most at E3. They have a strong presence and they tend to be the parts of the show that set the identity and message each company shows throughout the week (and the following year). By not focusing on any real Vita software in the press conference (instead focusing on a long deal about Powers, free-to-play and numbers), Sony showed their disinterest in the Vita.
There were Vita games on the show floor, yes, but Sony themselves...
ProJared uploaded a video regarding his sincere dislike of the E3 demo he played and he never came across as a "Sonic fan."
I am completely apathetic toward this entire franchise, but since it's Platinum, I'll give it a shot.
If it wasn't Platinum, I'd completely agree. That's really the only thing the first Avatar game was famous for.
They have every right to charge what they want, just as we have every right to not pay for it.
You can get ZombiU on disc cheaper than that at many other stores, but $20 for Rayman Legends is pretty sweet.
I think if difficulty does feel essential to the gameplay itself, you can market that. Dark Souls' appeal is based around its challenge because that challenge makes the ideas like Permadeath and player planning better. It's a big part of why the game is so addictive and fun.
If a game just flaunts a hard difficulty for no reason, then yeah, I agree that it shouldn't be used to market a game, but I believe games like Dark Souls (games that base themselves around si...
Strider and Double Dragon Neon are more than worth putting up with something like Pac-Man Museum.
Didn't everyone say Ryse sucked when it released? Why would you want it on PS4?
I might try it a few times just to see what it's all about, but rental prices aren't the only issue that Sony should address.
I'm more worried about how good the streaming itself is. I've heard promising impressions about the service up till now, but once it's available to everyone and the servers are more populated, that could cause technical instability too.
We'll see. I want this service to succeed, but Sony is gonna need a lot of p...
Capcom, no, but Crytek would fit well with the kind of stuff that's popular and successful on Xbox.
I'm interested in this big time. :)
Really? Worse than Sonic '06? I have a very hard time believing that.
Really? Ouch. Thanks for the tip, prodg52.
First of all, a vast majority of the series on Crunchyroll have not been dubbed yet. They're streamed in Japanese because they haven't been licensed for English dubbing. They're coming straight from Japan; that's what "simulcasting" is.
Secondly, for the ones that ARE licensed for dubbing, the dubs belong to the dubbing companies. Funimation decides who can show the dubs of their shows because their writers and VA's provided the dubbed version. V...
Sony shouldn't get any leeway with this terrible decision. The Vita deserves more awesome exclusive first-party content like Tearaway and Killzone Mercenary.
