After watching Matt and Woolie from the Best Friends Zaibatsu play this, couldn't help but read the article. That surge of "street life" video games in the early 2000's...what a weird time it was.
I really wouldn't mind Tingle being playable in Hyrule Warriors. Not at all.
My girlfriend is one of the most dedicated gamers I've ever seen in my life. She manages a guild in an MMO and uses a Twitch channel (and not those fake "gamer girl" channels that have a League of Legends game in one screen and a women doing laundry in another. That's a real thing, by the way.)
Either way, girlfriends who are gamers are very real, and like the article said, most of them dodge those internet-enforced stereotypes and have a sense of independen...
Yet those are the people who will buy it.
Been curious about this game for a long time. Can't wait to play it. :)
They're waiting to see if this catches on. VR's success depends on dev support and the price consumers are willing to pay for those games.
If Sony hits home with Morpheus, that's awesome and I'd expect Nintendo and Microsoft to change their tune on VR, but if they don't, then they're gonna dodge a bullet that Sony jumped into.
There was no need to study this. The game they played was Modern Warfare 3. Anyone who's ever played that game online could make this conclusion.
It might not have been highly regarded, but I honestly don't think it was because of Aveline's character. She was a MUCH better character than Connor. I wish they kept her around instead of giving her a lackluster Vita game and leaving her behind.
I don't think Ubisoft had any obligation to have female characters in the game. It's their game, so if they want to have just four guys in the squad, that's their right to do it.
The real problem...
It's not just that he was rude. It's that he was there with no intention of being a journalist, which is what a lot of people go to E3 for: reporting coverage on the upcoming games and announcements.
We don't know anything about this game yet, and THIS is what we're talking about?
Correction: the moment it was leaked. Everyone got hyped when "Project Beast/Beast Souls" saw the light of day. I expect PS4's to be sold with this game.
Listen: a headline is a big part of any journalistic article. To make an effective headline, you must convey an overarching thesis/opinion that teases, but still gets the article's point across. A headline should represent the content of the article, plain and simple.
If this article is not what the headline implies and talks about something completely different, that's not an effective headline. It's clickbait, and by saying we should read the article to see that...
Since a lot of the people who are in Platinum Games came from Clover Studios (the ones who made Viewtiful Joe and Okami), I honestly can't think of any better studio to have those IP's.
Too bad memory cards are super-expensive and you need them to hold all the free games.
And hippos. They don't just have the ability to kill people: they actually do it.
I doubt Sony and Microsoft will follow Nintendo's lead, but I really liked the, as the article said, "personal" element that allowed for Robot Chicken sketches and GIF fuel like the Iwata Vs. Reggie fight. The latter was especially hilarious.
And I still like how Nintendo was able to extend the announcements beyond the set time slot of a press conference. Kept things lively and full of anticipation. Being immune to the potential flubs of live conferences helped ...
While I do not believe Sony's press conference was bad at all, I didn't even notice that DriveClub wasn't included. With barely any big 2014 exclusives, you'd think Sony would've shown at least a little of that.
Eh...still was a solid show, though.
Maybe it's a Metal Gear joke? :P
Minecraft Pocket Edition turned me off to touch screen controls for Minecraft. I'd say stick to the buttons and analog sticks.
But your heart loves them.
