They have a few series dubbed and subbed. Rurouni Kenshin has both subs and dubs available, for example.
Philips products are notoriously low-quality compared to their competitors. I guess since Philips isn't selling enough of their own products, they think that suing other companies is easier and more beneficial than just making their products not suck.
I really don't understand how that pertains to the matter at hand. Philips is using very vague language to try and capitalize on someone else's success. It has nothing to do with Nintendo, Sony or Microsoft, and the fact that you're bringing it up means that it means more to you than to many other people here.
Patent trolling sucks in general. It sucks when Apple does it. It sucks when Philips does it. The reason we're not chewing Nintendo out for this situati...
Same company, yeah.
It's called the post-launch lull. It happens every generation, but it eventually goes away. The author needs to quit being so impatient.
Even if these are the final prices and PS Now doesn't end up being a huge success, it won't kill Sony or even kill the PS4.
I think the "Ditto are failed clones of Mew" theory is pretty neat.
The Tenkaichi games had one of the worst cameras I've ever seen in a game, which is even worse when it's a fighting game that requires a lot of precision.
"If people simply don't buy micro transactions the market will adjust and remove them."
While that's true, that's like saying we could cure childhood obesity if everyone just stopped going to Burger King all the time. That's dependent on a huge amount of people, and that's not even counting all the ways that the publishers are tricking players into buying into microtransactions.
You know why the microtransactions are usually so s...
Unless you have the Super Horn, there's no defense.
They contribute. Publicity is publicity, and when more people see your game, there's a better chance of them wanting to buy it (if it's good, of course).
However, I really don't like the "free advertising" argument that's tossed around all the time, because it's used in the context that Youtubers' entire motive is to advertise for the developer, and as we all know, that's not true. Youtubers have money on the line as well through video ad...
Of course they will. Third-parties go where the money is.
Right now it's up to Nintendo to sell the Wii U, and this far into 2014, they've been making strides. Hopefully that momentum will continue over the next couple years.
There would be more people interested in investing in its games if there were more games to be invested in. Sony doesn't seem to understand that.
Tell it like it is, Reggie! Thank you!

I hope so. I wouldn't like Oculus games to be walled off from the established Steam userbase. There are a lot of cool games on Steam that have used the Rift intelligently, so I'd hate to see them go away.
First off, the petition is a joke. No one in the right mind believes that Nintendo would follow through on it, even if it succeeded.
Secondly, get over the Dante thing. DMC was not canon, and if you played DMC, you'd know that the gameplay was exactly the same as other Devil May Cry games.
As random said, it doesn't change how the game plays. The Assassin's Creed franchise changes main characters all the time and the gameplay stays, for the most p...
I like what McMillen says: at least ask permission, and with indie developers these days (aside from the obvious exception with Phil Fish), there's a very good chance that they'll say yes. They want people to see their games and they want to see gamers have fun with their games.
Edmund is pretty much saying "I just want people to have fun." That's very encouraging. Can't wait for Binding of Isaac: Rebirth!
From what I can gather (and if I'm wrong, feel free to correct me), this means that Oculus would be its own digital "system", essentially. That means it wouldn't be treated as an accessory, like it did before with many different games on Steam.
So this would count out any other games on Steam getting "Oculus support." If you want Oculus games, you'd need to get them from Oculus themselves.
In my opinion, that seems like a bad i...
Glad I'm not the only one who thought Squid Girl when they debuted this game.
There have been clarifications from multiple game designers who've said that it neither takes 8000 animations, nor does it take "a day." Both sides are exaggerating.
Either way, Ubisoft's PR completely flubbed this. If you don't want to have female assassins in your game, fine. It's your game and you should have creative control over it. However, saying that it takes too many resources to do is a terrible way to explain the situation.
