That Leigh Alexander tweet that was deleted was downright terrible, one of the most unprofessional and childish messages I've ever heard from anyone in the game journalism community.
They're dropping Vita support too. The quote in the article is referring to the 3DS and Vita, since EA wants to focus more on big-budget console games and mobile garbage. They don't want to invest in dedicated handheld titles anymore, which is a shame, since both the 3DS and Vita have some awesome titles.
People on Twitter are already taking sides before any of them know the full story. Do we know how many people who were not "white males" that were turned down writing positions at Giant Bomb? Do we know the reasons that anyone was turned down a position? I don't see how anyone can start making claims like this without being an employee at Giant Bomb and knowing the real reason as to why this happened.
I believe that the "go **** yourself" line was extr...
Yeah, I was gonna say, it's Uncharted. Why wouldn't it be great?
"Moore was particularly enamored with the potential of mobile platforms, PC free-to-play, and browser-based titles to "take the lumps" out of the industry, easing the pains of a console transition."
So making cheap-to-make, easy-to-monetize garbage is what they want to do? Yup, that's definitely EA.
But...but...60fps is true next-gen!
How long was that "retirement" again? Like a few years?
Being self-aware of your arrogance doesn't mean you aren't arrogant.
OT: Powers was a bore that took time away from the conference, time that Sony could've shown one or two more big titles with, preferably something new that hadn't already been leaked or teased.
I think it would make more sense to get people hyped about this cross buy idea if the game was something more prolific and highly publicized...
...like Shovel Knight. But that's dependent on the developer's support of the idea, so...eh...not sure.
Does this mean that I can get both the 3DS and Wii U version of a game, as long as I buy the 3DS version first?
Oh man, a new Castlevania with THAT level of art design and arcade-style gameplay? Sign me up!
Does that mean she'll be saying "Hi, I'm Bayo!" every two seconds when attacking?
The Resident Evil 4 boxart for Europe is easily my favorite for the game, especially the Wii version.
I heard the PC version was pretty buggy compared to the console versions. Can anyone confirm or debunk that?
And yet America got Little Viking Boy there. Truly sad.
Pretty much. It's essentially this generation's "blast processing."
After E3, I've heard so many people say that they're now fully interested in a Wii U system (some even saying that they went out and bought one because of Nintendo's showing). We're hearing sales increases from Mario Kart 8, publicity both viral and traditional, all surrounding a rather packed 2014 lineup. People are paying attention to the Wii U.
Now, we hear Iwata's still in, and it all of a sudden hits the trigger for anti-Nintendo doom comments again? ...
I'm tired of AAA games always trying to be serious and cinematic all the time. Sometimes you just wanna have some fun and laugh a little. I miss the days of the Gamecube and PS2, when games like Super Mario Sunshine or Ratchet and Clank could just be fun and not try to shove all of these thick, uncomfortable tones down everyone's throats.
Thank God for games like Tomodachi, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon, and Saints Row IV. It's about time gaming lightened up again.
Completely forgot about Bionic Commando Rearmed. Great to see it on sale for a real bargain!
I like that slogan. It's like they're rubbing it in the face of smartphones and tablets.
