That is true, if you were paying $300 a year I could understand complaining about not having many AAA games each month but you can get it for a $1.

I would expect all the GaaS games to launch on PC day 1 and they might even go as far to release them on Xbox as well who knows.

Yeah it's actually decent, now PS gamers can get a taste of what it's like to have something like Game Pass.
If you read the article you would realize this developer isn't complaining about Game Pass in fact it's the opposite. They are saying they only see success if they are on the service like when they released Haven.
Furi was released before GP even existed and they know that Xbox most gamers won't buy their DLC because the game was never on GP and MS is refusing to put Furi on GP because it's so old.

While things certainly have been slow and this year feels like an XB1 year by no means will this continue.
MS currently has like 23 studios with around 35 teams and once ABK joins it will be even more. Eventually things will be more consistent I feel like this generation will have growing pains but by next gen Xbox will be a force to be reckoned with.
Luckily Game Pass still have plenty of games to play even if they aren't first party.
I would say every third party game releasing the rest of the year needs to be Day 1 Game Pass as a minimum to make up for this. Or give everyone one year of Game Pass Ultimate free. They have to do something major, I love Xbox but this is just plain bad.
I may just get a PS5 early now to fill the gap since it will be like a year wait for any big games, here's hoping they release a limited edition FF16 PS5.

There is a reason Sony is making 10 GaaS games it is because they know their currently strategy of AAA single player games is not sustainable and in the end they will likely stop doing them all together or you will just get a few a generation.
If Sony believed they could sustain their current formula they wouldn't even bother with those GaaS games and would double down on AAA single player, but they aren't........think about that for a moment.
Good luck with those 10 GasS games releasing at $70. The initial install bases will be too small to make them successful and will likely all die quick deaths. Unless they make them free of course, which would be less initial money for them vs using a sub.
