I can't exactly get data on Sony fans opinions but whenever you see another game coming to PC you always gt comments say "I wish Sony went back to the way they were when exclusives meant something"
You say 3-5 years those are old numbers the gap has closed exponentially. TLOU had the PC release announced the same day I am sure in a year or two every first party Playstation game will launch day 1 on PC.
I can promise you 1000% they do.
Spin is already starting to happen due to games like Spiderman and TLOU coming to PC, but this will certainly add to the chaos.
I have no interest in DS but if it comes to Game Pass PC, the chaos that will ensue will be monumental lol.
Sony should never have allowed the PC rights to go third party it will be MLB all over again.
I only mentioned Immortality since it's lesser known game in the list and was well received from Edge of all places. The rest are already well known titles. So no I was not being sarcastic, this is indeed a crazy drop.
Oh wow this is a crazy drop, after the last drop this more than makes up for it. That Immortality game got a rare 10/10 from Edge so can't wait to try that.
The best deal in gaming continues to deliver.
They will start adding 1st party games day one, starting with Factions and their GaaS games. Eventually all their games will be Day 1 on PS+ and PC my guess it by the end of next year when all their PC support studios are up to speed.
Exactly this, when Sony themselves admit Game Pass is the best deal in gaming and the most successful then you know it's true.
Too many people here are in denial.
It's true, Game Pass has far superior games 1st and 3rd party with a massive variety not just 3rd person narrative games.
There is a reason it's called the Best Deal in Gaming and it will remain that way especially with the addition of ABK games.
Sony just can't compete they just don't have the money to make the same deals MS can.
AAA games are not sustainable they get more expensive each gen and they barely make any money unless they all sell 30ml+.
Subs and GaaS are the future and Sony sees that. If you want traditional games stick with Nintendo.
Just like Sony does with Final Fantasy, Street Fighter 5 etc.
Why would a first party studio make multiplatform games? It like saying why is Spiderman not on Xbox when Sony brought Insomniac.
It's hilarious how fearful Sony is of Game Pass that they actively tell publishers not to release games on it. They know their time at the top is limited.
It's weird that they are worried about losing it though since MS publicly said they will allow it to stay on Playstation, it could very well be that MS told Sony that they will indeed make it exclusive at some point otherwise Sony shouldn't have anything to complain about.
It's weird, kind of reminds me of how Game Pass PC was at the start with lack of games but normal Game Pass got everything.
They should really make Premium cheaper or in Beta mode until they have content to add.
Shhh don't ruin the moment for him :)
I mean lets me real there will be no more WRPGs on Playstation except The Witcher and Mass Effect, Xbox pretty much owns the WRPG market now.
It can still bounce back, tons of games have been on life support and make crazy comebacks. Look at Sea of Thieves, No Mans Sky, FF14. I don't even think Fortnite was very popular until years after its release.
Damn you can really feel the fear Sony has of this acquisition, if MS made it exclusive Sony knows their gaming business is pretty much dead.
I do wonder what Sony will pay them to keep it coming to Playstation.
If Sony gets SE, MS will go for Sega since they have a strong relationship with them going back to the original Xbox.
Capcom will remain independent I think, they are very successful right now and also have exclusives on Switch so being brought out doesn't make sense unless they remain independent like Bungie.
While Sony obviously does pay to block games on Game Pass, this one example has already been debunked by a spokesperson for the publisher.
