They still had their second best Q4 ever so its not as bad as you think it is.
And Xbox is here to stay especially after purchasing Zenimax and ABK, if they keeping dipping they will just get more aggressive at acquisitions to ensure success.
To be fair GWG quality didn't drop immediately when Game Pass released, it only got bad like a year or 2 afterwards.
Most of these drops you see now are likely from deals made over a year ago, but for now Sony does seem to be keeping the quality up.
You could see this coming a mile away, the studio has never made a game from the ground up before. Surprised Sony even decided to fund it, it will probably end up being vapourware.
Surprising that GP subscriptions grew even though no new games released, must mean that everyone buying a SX is subscribing.
That makes no sense why even implement it if everyone has already played it?
This is just due to the lack of a PS5 version of Smart Delivery, making it hard for dev to have an easy upgrade path.
Or you could just buy a PC and play the best versions of every game.
PS5 only came out on top early in the gen when the Xbox dev tools weren't very mature, but now Xbox is usually conformably better or it's equal.
"XGP is mainly a collection of crossplatform games already playable on PC"
That's exactly the same thing as Sony though. Exclusives are a thing of the past every game is at least on PC as well Sony has already confirmed that.
No one buys physical discs anymore except Switch owners. Xbox is like 90% digital while PS is at least 70%+ now.
Will you be saying the same thing in 15 years time?
MS is leading cloud gaming, it will become standard in the future it's just a matter of when not if. Getting in the game early as an option means they will dominate the industry further down the road.
And yet both Skyrim and Fallout 4 won bucket loads of GOTY awards.
Graphics don't make a game great, gameplay does and no one does WRPGs betters than Bethesda.
You obviously haven't played a Bethesda RPG before, if you think NMS has more features.
It's pretty much a certainty, Kojima Productions is a studio not a publisher they need a publisher to release the game. That publisher is MS which is why it will be exclusive, just like how Death Stranding is exclusive to PS/PC.
The fact they had to say this probably means Kojima got a bunch of death threats when the announcement was made, which is very very sad.
No dev should be required to be loyal to any platform.
It's going to be exclusive to Xbox/PC due to the cloud implementation of it I can't see Sony wanting to pay for the ongoing cost of that if it wasn't exclusive to their platform.
Looks way better than I thought it would, was going to pass on it but now Day 1
Interesting that they are no longer hiding that PC versions are coming now.
I am sure they have a contract with Platinum Games that they have to support the game for at least a couple of years.
If you are a long time subscriber I am pretty sure you are aware of how bad GwG is and probably don't even bother check the games.
