Not surprising to see, there isn't a single publisher/dev who has been on Game Pass and was disappointed with the results.
Just making 3rd person action adventure narrative games isn't variety.
Xbox fans are the public, the only people not wanting this to go through are Playstation fans who think Playstation will die without COD.
Yep Sony being pressured makes them try harder, if the 360 was a flop there wouldn't be an uncharted, LoU etc.
Playstation fans should be begging for this to go through, so they get more variety in games.
I mean it quite obvious. Un-intrusive means it doesn't interrupt your gameplay like a screen blocking popup. It's obviously ads like Death Stranding monster drinks or like you said billboards.
Ads are already in games so I don't see this going away.
It was obvious it was going to bomb, the price is too high in this economy and the games are just average looking.
Sony shouldn't be wasting resources on this just focus on PS5.
Because everyone knows that all Xbox games come to PC so why report on the obvious.
All Playstation games are coming to PC so it's only a matter or time until being on PC still counts as being exclusive.
"Microsoft decided to make several of Bethesda's titles including Starfield and Redfall Microsoft exclusives despite assurances it had given to European antitrust authorities that it had no incentive to withhold games from rival consoles."
If MS said that then it should be blocked, such as stupid thing to promise for Zemimax games when they aren't even that major.
After this I really can't see it going through no way the EU will agr...
"Newell also notes that Phil Spencer and the Xbox team have always followed through on their commitments and trust their intentions"
One of the CMA's main points was the MS doesn't follow through on deals but a competitor is saying otherwise.
Great ammunition for MS to give to regulators right there.
Gabe knows MS has no reason to lie about this.
Of course they could be lying just like Sony lied about believing in generations. But at least for 10yrs they will have to do it if it's in writing.
Yep, Sony's main argument was that gamers would have less choice this just proves the opposite.
Game Pass's value just increased.
Don't know anyone who buys games full price these days, unless they have nothing else to play except new releases.
The XB/PC versions are and mess and the PS version is only acceptable due to the 150 devs Sony sent to help. That's what happens when you rush your game out, they should have delayed it a year to polish it up.
There we no supply constraints for any of the consoles, it's just the Switch and XSS had really good deals that made them must have.
Pentiment - 9
XGS are really hitting out the park these days. Even with very few releases they are getting amazing scores from all the reputable outlets.
Switch: 42%
Xbox: 40%
PS: 18%
Crazy sales for Xbox and Switch will be interesting to see if this is the same in the US during Black Friday.
It's impossible to have a bug free Bethesda game since their games are so interactive there is no way to know or test every scenario. There is a reason games like Elders Scrolls and Fallout get high reviews while being buggy because there are no other games in the industry which allow the same kind of interactivity.
These are not your linear narrative driven games where every gamer has the exact same experience every time, there are thousands of possibilities for what a...
They will likely lose in court but I do wonder if MS will even bother. They are better off just spending that money on securing more Day 1 Game Pass deals.
It seems that gamers like games that suck then.
