Check the reviews of Forza 1 vs. GT4, and Forza 2 vs. GT5P. Forza has already caught up. They are equals in quality.
If you don't care about critical accalim, then what are you basing your opinion on?
GT5 fans seem VERY interested in Forza 3 because people like you post comments in EVERY Forza 3 article. You must be either intrigued by Forza 3, or worried about it. Why else would you be here?
I've watched the videos on IGN.com. Forza 3 looks absolutely gorgeous. And yes, I have played GT5P.
It's a 360 exclusive, so PS3 fans are just trying desperately to create a controversy to diminish L4D2's impact.
MS doesn't need money to entice third parties - 30+ million Xbox 360's, and the potential revenue for a developer to make a game available on the 360, is more than enough. Selling more consoles is what MS does best.
EDIT @ below - so, I guess third parties make PS3 games for free out of the goodness of their hearts. I mean, you make it sound like Sony doesn't pay for anything.

I believe MS showed a long demonstration of Forza 3, complete with both in-game and replay footage. Not to mention an actual release date, unlike GT5 which existed only in an unplayable video.

The Forza series has always delivered an experience equal to Gran Turismo. Millions of gamers know it, hundreds of professional reviewers know it. The only people in denial about it are PS3 fans like you. Turn 10 has successfully delivered top-notch racing experiences, at equal quality, without the delays of GT.
This whole "can't be done on any other system" talk is getting ridiculous. Exclusives are built to use the consoles strengths to their advantage while avoiding the weaknesses. Since every console is different inside, comparisons of this nature are completely pointless. Apples and oranges.
I have a PSP that I use emulators on. The N64 emulator is slow and has bad sound. So, is the PSP somehow less powerful than an N64 because it can't run N64 games perfectly?

Check the dozens of reviews and scores for Forza 1 (92 Metacritic), Forza 2 (90), GT4 (89), and GT5P (84). Forza has become Gran Turismo's equal in the eyes of those who know best (which excludes fanboys like you). Deal with it.
Comparing Forza to Ridge Racer gives you exactly ZERO credibility. Respect from who - you??? Like a Forza fan would really care if somebody like you respect...
We could always wait until October when Forza 3 comes out and make the comparisons then. Oh wait, I forgot, GT5 won't be out in October. Or November. Or December. Or January. Or February. Or March. Have fun staring at pictures of GT5 while 360 owners will actually be PLAYING Forza 3.

Here now???? GT5 probably would be ready this year if Polyphony didn't have to rush a PSP version in time for the Go's launch. Four years of no info for Gran Turismo Mobile (it's original name), now, all of the sudden it's 4 months away from launch?

Did anyone even read the article? It gives a SLIGHT edge to Sony - ONLY because of the PSP go announcement - NOT because of anything to do with PS3 vs. 360. "Owning"? Hardly.

Big games were announced on both sides.
I know GT5 will be great - I've played all the others. But, Turn 10 are perfectionists as well, and thankfully they don't take as long to deliver their games. Just look at the many reviews of Forza 1 and 2 and you will see what I mean. As a racing game fan, I don't know how you PS3 guys can wait so long between games - I certainly couldn't.

So, by your reasoning, I guess you would agree also that Halo is the king of shooters because it has sold more copies than any other shooter series has. 25 million and counting. KZ2, Resistance, etc. better get used to looking at Halo 3's back. It's all about sales, right?
