And yeah, disagree. Maybe in your little world, that actually makes a difference. Meanwhile, I'm still waiting on that one good WWI-based game that remains nameless. ;)
It's funny how you fanbozos argue over graphics, as if it makes your peckers bigger, when you actuality, you most likely haven't even dropped your balls yet. I'll take game play and plot any day. And GoW certainly had both of these, not to mention co-op.
Since when were games about "the best graphics" over having fun?
My comment was referring to games based on WWI. They just don't work very well. Name one that has. I meant no disrespect towards the people who have died in WWI. I know you can't help yourself, but don't be ignorant and bring nationality into this. Assuming that I'm American, if you really think my opinion is based on a lack of U.S. involvement, you're the one that needs to grow up. Seriously.
He got the Contra code wrong.
I personally don't think there's anything wrong with a game being based on WWII. A lot of them just suck. There's been some great ones, like Company of Heroes, but as far as FPS is concerned, and Battlefield 1942 aside, I don't think we've seen the WWII shooter than will blow us away just yet, and maybe not for a while. I don't get why people gripe about WWII games. There's a lot, yes, but there are a lot of people fascinated with this era. If you're not one of them, that's fine, but nobody's...
Because WW1 is boring. :D Well, except for the dogfighting. Epic.
Bleh, it's been done before. Did we forget about Battlefield already? Modern still works for me. There's nothing wrong with futuristic warfare, but in a series like CoD, I'd rather they maintain their use of realistic weaponry.
I've personally lost faith in humanity. This generation of kids sickens me. The trash I hear coming out of their mouths is really disturbing. It seems everyone is a lamb that follows a lamb that follows a lamb. Nobody has a mind of their own. Nobody respects or is polite to one another. It's gotten to a point where I don't even try to meet new people because 90% of society, it seems, are the offspring of garbage, who in turn will someday have garbage of their own. It's a never-ending cycle an...
It's funny how some people's wieners are so small, they even have to argue about trivial differences between multi-platform games. Regardless, 360 and PS3 owners alike will be enjoying this game.
Why are you even looking?
Perhaps some people pirate to try out games before they buy them. Ever think of that? It's commonly known that 90% of games on the market are crap. We only get so many gems a year. Why waste time and $50-60 on something that's subpar? Morally speaking, piracy is bad, but it can be a good thing as well, and I don't think it's hurting the gaming industry at all. Piracy has been around for ages, even at the birth of the video game industry, yet the industry is thriving. Companies will say they l...
"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder."
"One man's trash is another man's treasure."
All great sayings. I think this also applies to someone's definition of a masterpiece. If a game is perfect to the player through and through, then it has every right to be considered a masterpiece by that player. Especially in a sea of crappy games.
Art's really no different in that sense.
She may be a little corky, but I don't see why people make a huge fuss over her. Take a good long look at yourself and get over it.
I'll never understand why people cheat, quit, act tough online, etc. I'd rather work for my skills and ranks. I'm not worried about impressing my peers. I do it only to challenge myself. There's always somebody better, so the only thing you really can do is give it your best shot. You're the only person worth doing it for. Nobody else cares. It's sad to think that we'll always have these morons that are so unhappy with themselves, they can't get along well with others and have to ruin it for ...
You guys hate it so much, yet you keep reading it. Why do you care about what some anonymous person has to say on the internet? There's no sense in getting so riled.
And 2 disagrees to my previous post? Laughable, but okay.
Of course she's been wrong before. Isn't that why it's called a rumor in the first place?
@12.4: Spoken like a true graphics boy. Although graphics are a huge plus, I personally prefer gameplay over graphics.
@12.5: I stopped reading after "I played Forza 2 on a friend's 360," then I noticed your name. Your opinion is biased, therefore irrelevant.
Sorry fanboys, this isn't a Forza 2 vs. GT5 debate. It's about damage adding realism to a racing simulator. Nothing more. Damage doesn't just mean cosmetic. Argue which game is better to your fanboy he...
It wouldn't surprise me if this "new military theatre" is in fact WWII's Pacific Theatre. There were plenty of major campaigns in the Central Pacific, Southwest Pacific, North Pacific, West Pacific and East China sea theatres. I personally wouldn't mind this, but I wouldn't mind another modern warfare either.
"we're bored of those crappy 1940s guns and sluggish propeller-powered planes"
Opinions vary, but I've always been fascinated with WWI and W...
