I find it hilarious that the people who wasted their time watching this wasted even more time commenting on it.
"I wasn't interested in the first Xbox because of Millenium and 95. yes, their OS turned me off. Now that I've seen what an original xbox could do, I'm glad I didn't get one."
You based your opinion of the Xbox solely on Windows 95 and Millennium? Wow. Simply wow. You've heard of XP or even Windows 98, right? Xbox has its roots in Windows 2000, though it's so heavily modified and stripped down (like 95%) that it couldn't even be considered Windows 2000. It's its own cus...
Petty?
I've gone through two Xbox 360s in the past two years. My first got the dreaded RRoD and my second, brand new and only a year old, now has a faulty DVD drive as of a week ago. My first console was under warranty, but that's not the case with my second, as it has already expired. Forking over $99 + $5 S&H to get it "repaired" won't renew my warranty, so I'm better off buying a new one for $199 just for a new 3-year warranty. If Jasper will solve all these damn...
Like I said, both guitars have pros and cons. It took me a while to get used to RB's guitar after playing GH for so long.
And to answer your question, 4.2, GH's guitar feels hollow, whereas RB's is heavier and feels more durable/solid.
I suppose they do suck if you prefer the cheap feel of a Guitar Hero guitar. I'm a GH fan turned Rock Band lover and can say that both GH and RB's guitars have pros and cons. In the end, the only thing that matters is what game suits you better. I personally have more fun playing RB with my friends. It's too little too late for GH (for me). RB is something Harmonix wanted to do and the reason why they parted ways with Activision, who were not interested in the concept until they saw the succe...
You're right. It has nothing to do with HD.
Trackball FTW!
Not including remakes...

"and anyone using it in the arcades will lose respect pretty damn fast"
Since when has that ever stopped people from taking the easy route in order to win? There will always be people who will do anything to win and/or to be the best.
I'd also have to disagree with your Blizzard comment, as WoW's PvP is severely broken right now. Not to mention the game relies heavily too much on player incapacitation. I think it's BS how it has become a game of paper/rock/...
Did you even read the thread on Shoryuken?
Why the disagrees? Have you two been living under a rock? If you'd rather waste your time reading something based on assumption, that doesn't offer anything we haven't heard before months ago, then be my guest. I just thought I'd save some people the trouble.
This article offers nothing we didn't already know months ago and is based on assumptions. It's a little contradicting as well.
I don't think they are. Not when they've given PS3 plenty of credit as of late. Just because someone doesn't jack off to the console of your choice doesn't make them biased. I'm not a fanboy of any console and can honestly say I'd probably share their views on PS3 up until now. That's not bias. It's honesty.
What's so bad about a 4/5 anyway? That's 80/100 like someone stated above. A 3/5 would be a 60/100, well below the meta average. So their score was slightly above. Who cares...
A lot of the people here whining about X-Play giving this a good score are the same people whining about them being biased. Does anyone else find that ironic? I don't really care for X-Play, but they speak their mind. You guys don't seem to think anything's wrong with that when you do it on here. I wouldn't go as far as calling them biased. Just honest. They put MGS4 on a pedestal, did they not? Reviews are just opinions. Nothing more. I can understand crying foul over a bad score, but over a...
It always seemed to me that Activision just wants to jump on the bandwagon after seeing the success of Rock Band. Like EA, they like to milk things, and while Harmonix wanted to evolve, Activision wasn't done with GH. There was really no reason to deny Harmonix their request, but I commend them for leaving Activision in order to see it through. I got my start on GH, but I personally love RB more, mainly because I enjoy playing it with my brother and friends. GH had its day, but like THPS, it'...
Maybe you guys should actually watch the video. It's the journalist whom asks CB the question and he gives a mature answer. I don't know why people get so hostile. He's just trying to make a living and is very passionate about his games. And it shows. Why hate him for that?
That whole blog post where this originated is garbage. You can't really tell people to shut up when you spew garbage yourself.
I can't speak for all, but for me and MANY of my friends, Halo was/is popular because we could all sit around multiple TVs and play together over linked Xbox's. With Combat Evolved, it was personal and extremely fun with all your buddies around you. Pretty much everything you would expect out of a LAN party. I think when Halo 2 introduced LIVE play, it lost that. Sure, you could play with your buddies over LIVE at any time, but it wasn't personal anymore. The magic was gone. Not to mention yo...
Oh, but I think I can. It's called sticking up for the underdog. What does his weight have anything to do with anything? He has done nothing to anyone other than express his opinions about a product/corporation and he's getting stoned for it. It's amusing to see you people accusing him of being an attention whore, yet you sit there in front of your computer, posting juvenile comments about someone you don't even know. And for what? What makes you so different or so much better? I just call it...
You guys are SO cool for calling this guy names. A lot of you scrotums need to grow up.
I never said it was a waste of my time. So no, not me.
