Personally, I'm not pleased with this decision. I have not purchased Undertow myself (so good for me, I suppose), but what about the people who have? Microsoft should have just credited everyone with 800 MS points and let them choose what game they want. It's appalling to me that we're all forced to deal with Xbox Live's issues for a month or more, with no real response from Microsoft about it and what they're doing to remedy the problem, only for them to dictate what game we all get for free...

I appreciate the clarification. It just irks me when people take low blows at each other's countries when we're all gamers here. I do agree, however, that Western developers have a tendency of dropping the ball. As an American, I can say that I love the Japanese's style of horror over ours. Silent Hill 5 is currently being developed by a Western team which has me biting at the nails, as I'm a huge SH fan. The Collective's track record certainly isn't an impressive one.

I think you miss the point. It's not gaming news, but I look at it as a reminder of what video games are all about. I'm sure all of us were that surprised and excited over a new console at some point. It's sad how some of you fanboys still try to turn this into a brawl. It should be about the love of video games, not what YOU think is superior while trying to shove your narrow-minded opinion down everyone's throats.
It strikes me as odd that Heavenly Sword's box art makes it into the Best category while Halo 3's qualifies as one of the worst. They both seem to be doing the same thing for me. Nothing. I'm a huge Halo fan, but I can honestly admit that Halo 3's box art is nothing special. I assume it's because it's a female on HS's cover, which is pitiful. It's nice art, but it doesn't impress me at all. Is the person that comprised this list an adolescent?

As for the topic, UT3 is a blast. I'd much rather play this on a PC, but PS3 fans should have a blast. They went back to the UT roots on this one. Though it takes a bit getting used to not being able to do a double jump out of a dodge.
