Good luck - whilst you're busy nominating TR for the Polished Turd award, I'll be busy enjoying the game.
Consoles aren't going anti-used, as anti-used would be an unstable economical point for all the companies involved.
Say that Microsoft and Sony both go Anti-Used. Year later, Microsoft says "Hey, we're used-game supporters after all!", basically stealing customers from Sony (as people will pick the used-games platform).
A stable point is that both allow used games, as moving away from that position will only result in a worse outcome for th...
You do realise that prices of games went up because of three reasons, not two?
1. Inflation
2. Rising Game Development costs
3. Piracy
Prices had to be raised so that the developers could at least hope to make a profit out of their product. (And remember - without a profit, people that make the game can't be paid)
As for software price - Games are rather cheap for software. If you want to see expensive, look at Autodesk 3D...
Might buy this out of pure nostalgia, it's looking rather good :)
Ah I love these titles. Rephrasing it into the full story gives something like this...
It is rumoured that two new characters for a rumoured game which has yet to be confirmed have been confirmed.
Spartan Ops:
"What we know of Spartan Ops so far is that it is a four-player co-op mode that follows a group of Spartan IVs called Majestic Squad. Unlike Firefight, this mode will be objective-based "
Spec Ops:
" Spec Ops will also provide objective-based challenges similar to those in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. It supports up to two players, both online and split screen, and now has its own matchmaking system."
From w...
I didn't say that. I said it _sounds_ like one.
This sounds a lot like a rip-off from Spec Ops mode. I hope I'm wrong.
There's no difference between streaming next-gen graphics and streaming current-gen graphics. The technology streams the images generated by a server - e.g. a bunch of pixels, regardless of what they represent.
There's a good chance that both Sony and Microsoft will announce their new consoles this E3, though in this case Geoff is probably just referring to the WiiU.
When's Microsoft's conference? Is that the Xbox Evolved one?
Nvidia's GRID solves it server side, not client side. You'll still experience input lag due to the latency between client and server.
Looking forward to next week then. Coincides with my final exam :o
Nobody forced Bungie to accept that contract, just as nobody forced any developer to engage in a contract with EA.
Besides, the developers that this article speaks about are those acquired by EA - they're not bound by a contract.
Have you ever considered that maybe, just maybe, the screwups in the franchise were the results of the developer screwing up, and not EA?
I dunno, this may be a good indication

Download Content:
There are exceptions (Capcom), but in general DLC is made _after_ the game releases, and is pretty much equivalent to the old day expansion packs.
Online Passes and DRM:
A way of countering piracy and used-game sales, of which the companies see nothing in return for. It's annoying, but understandable.
Paying to play online:
Depends what you're referring to. Paying like paying for Xbox Live I would say is rathe...
There's no evidence to support the suggestion that Ps4 will use an AMD processor either. I'd say both "leaks" are fake.
This "news" has failed submission several times already. The reason? Because it's fake.
Why anyone would believe the Ps4 will have 20 GB of RAM is beyond me.
Black Ops 2 will be shown at Microsoft´s press conference, and they'll announced timed-exclusive DLC. Then they're gonna show lots of kinect games, and finish off with announcing Kinect support for Halo 4.
Oh wow, I don't remember what they did but I definitely remember Secret Tapes - I spent ages collecting those :o
