No, it was a totally new title, that was developed by Midway. It actually takes place after 2. They honestly should have called it Doom 3, but reasons I suppose, like Midway developing, and it being the only console exclusive Doom title. It's a great game though, plays just like the originals. That misconception probably had to do greatly with its sales. Underrated N64 game, for sure.
Evil Within 2 was excellent. I wish more people played it.
Well, if they let Kojima tell them when it was finished, we would have had a masterpiece that would still be selling today anytime it went on sale.
Mankind Divided was awesome, and sold like crap.
If you have a modded switch, someone ported a PC version of Doom 64, best you can get at the moment :/
I'd say normal difficulty, with permadeath. Feels just right so far. If you're careful, you won't have any troop deaths, but it does require some thought as to how you position, equip and train your characters. Also, this game is awesome! Any Switch owner and JRPG lover should definitely support this.
This game is REALLY good so far. Very deep and rewarding mechanics.
Although, now that I'm playing it more, it is a much deeper game than Awakening in terms of what to do outside of battle. If Awakening wasn't your thing, perhaps it won't be worth the asking price, but definitely worth it if you can find a used copy or wait until a sale. I got an early copy, and so far I can't put it down.
That was only with the LFG function, and if you set it up that way. They're changing comp to 2-2-2, re-balancing the entire roster, resetting MMR, introducing separate SR for each class and including role queue. It's the biggest change to the game since launch. Role lock isn't what they're doing, and not sure why the article calls it such.
Nice!
It's good, I've been playing for a couple days now.
Awakening was a really good game; If you didn't like that, you probably won't really like this one much better. It's Fire Emblem, awesome tactics battle system with anime stories based on wars and mystical shit.
This is real Fire Emblem, not Warriors lol. If you like tactical RPGs, it's one of the best series around.
Alan Wake was a playable Stephen King novel. I do really hope it gets a sequel someday.
I don't think so. I believe at launch, that was due to some units with faulty heat dissipation. Console was getting too hot, leading to expansion in the plastic. There were some Switch consoles that curved entirely from it. I would consider those faulty, and I doubt many of them still work at all. Anyways, new Switch has a more power efficient chip, so it will run at lower temps.
Sure you are.
We don't know how it's made. The concern is that they might use the same set-up that's inside the joy-cons, which is prone to degradation. No one wants that. I haven't had any problems with either of my Switch consoles, but I recognize the fact that others have, and want to see Nintendo address it.
We want a good product with lots of games, and solid customer service from a company that isn't afraid to admit to, and rectify mistakes.
Might be greed, or might be huge engineering oversight.
I don't think it's like that, nor do I want it to be. I love Nintendo as a company, but if this is a serious problem, they need to address it properly.
I haven't, in either of my pairs, but now that we know what it is, it's most likely only a matter of time. Some people have bigger hands, and might squeeze, or push joysticks down a little harder, accelerating wear down, but if there's metal on soft material, it's gonna be inevitable in the end most likely.
Panic Button! Love those guys.
